just wondering what changes people think will be made

OUT - Slade Gardiner Rico DJ

IN - Stokes McCarthy Callen SJ

Slade should have gone a week ago.
Gardiner does nothing when he gets the ball.
Rico is he injured ?
DJ just to slow & has had very little impact lately.

In : Stokes King
Out : Slade Mooney

I just get the feeling that the more the supporters bag Charlie, the more bomber wants to prove a point and pick him.

He does not get much of a public baggy except on bigfooty. Surely Bomber does not read this forum, or maybe he keeps playing H to spite you?

Thats Offical team GeeCat?

Geez... Bomber "Dog wont play" what the hell was that about?

Wojac out? Bloody hell.

Gardiner should be out with Stokes in.

EDIT: bringing in 2 underdone players. *grumbles*

Good ins.

I'm tipping Byrnes will come in for Harley as the late change.

Byrnes coming in for Harley will make it 2.5 defenders out (Wojcinski, Slade, Mooney being the half) and 2 forwards and no defenders in (SJ, Byrnes.)

Me not like.

Bomber said during the week that it was'nt panic stations just yet......

Well, I reckon the Cat's have hit the panic button throwing Tom Harley back in after just 30min of footy last week. As well as Playfair underdone / Riccardi underdone / King - first game in a month ,I'd say this is a sign of Cat's doing the last roll of the dice.

If it comes off (which I doubt) then Bomber will be a star .... if it fails then I reckon the screws will really start to get turned on him.

I was speaking to reserves player who said the players are mouthing off at each other at training and the general mood around the place is rock bottom. Will be an interesting week if they get rolled by the saints and face up to the pies next week.

great list for this game.
we'll win byyyyyy 8points and I'm being unbiased here.
I am going to enjoy being right tomorrow night after the game and I'll come on here if i'm wrong and we can all agree I've lost the plot.

I can't stand team mates mouthing off at each other in the thirsty thirds let alone the bloody elite. It's completely unnacceptable and somebody needs to do something about it. That's a sign of a very very sick club at elite level.

Bomber must be mighty proud of himself with the team he's just assembled on paper. Unfortunately, he appears to have learnt nothing.

There is, seemingly though, one thing we've learnt - the GFC caves in too easily. His calm appearance in the face of the public and media might suggest otherwise, but inside Bomber is feeling the heat. I think it's a fair comment to suggest that, up to date, Bomber has played the assuring and optimistic coach quite well. In fact, Cook joined in on the act earlier this week, declaring that the panic button had not yet been pressed. Now, I'm not one to hang Bomber over his general lack of emotion (at least, in comparison to some of the other coaches going around), and I hardly blame Cook for attempting to instill some control over the situation on the field, but the armour has well and truly been cracked open.

The pressure on both the playing group and the coaching staff has built increasingly over the past month. My qualm isn't so much about that, but rather their reaction to this pressure. Much has been made about the player's ability to stand up and fight the losing trend, but not nearly enough has been said about the staff. The "player management" statement we heard and were assured of time and time again over the pre-season has turned to be utter bollocks. It was a bold statement considering our past, but one that, in theory, was well made. Yet we've seen that, as the pressure has mounted, the GFC has caved into it's own words, and begun (some might argue continued) a trend that's seen us say one thing and contradict it a few more steps down the same track.

We haven't stayed strong or true to our words, we've collapsed and given in far too easily. If the panic button hasn't been pressed, then I'd hate to see what we'll do when it is.

I understand the notion of "desperate times call for desperate measures", and I understand that we may not necessarily have the luxury of bringing in only 100% players at this point in time, but surely there is a line to be drawn. Our problems don't lie solely upon our lack of a spine, nor the quality of the 22 guys we put out on the park every week. A variable not played to our advantage in past weeks, yes, but certainly not the greatest issue at hand. Don't try and merely cover the problem Bomber, legitimately fix it. Don't count on simply throwing in the Harley's of this team to reap results, start by working from the deeper problem within - the team.

Harley will not play. Wojcinski will be a late inclusion.
What is wrong with our selectors? Every week, there's always a late exclusion - some underdone player goes out and this week it'll be Harley. King will probably play, but barely do anything. Benchwarmer.

OK, so King is in. Anyone got any ideas who will be replacing him tomorrow at 7.29?

I'm not at all sure about this team. With St Kilda's ruck stocks being ordinary, do we need King in? I guess it frees up Ottens but I'm not sure he's essential this week.

I think I read that Milne is not playing this week - that could be great for us (I saw his name in the Outs for the Saints). I hope to God Harley is ready.

What are the chances of naming the player or giving us a hint as to who the player you were talking to is?
