Finally! Good to see him being named in the squad and down in the backline:thumbsu:

I think Kreuzer, Pfeiffer and Hartlett will miss this game - but at least this gives Hampson and Walker a much needed run in the 1's.

are you effin kidding me? russell survies YET AGAIN
im not a russell hater, ive been sticking up for him this year, but he seriously cant be named in the starting 18!! at least the bench
hes lucky ratten loves him and sees potential or he'd be out

Hartlett for Wiggins
Hampson for Kreuzer
Pffeiffer won't come in.

Won't hurt at all for Kreuzer to go back for a run with the Bullants

We have got to look at Hartlett across HF......stay injury free ffs.

Anyone agree!

Should've kept Browne in and omitted Russell instead.

And no, I'm not starting a Russell hate thingy majiggy. I'm just sick of Russell surviving each week after putting in repeatedly pathetic performances each and every week. Whereas, someone who actually plays well (Browne) is omitted.

Would've rather seen Browne stay at Half back, and had Walker on the wing in Russell's spot.

Great to see Austin in the starting 18, as well as Walker :thumbsu:

My INS: Austin, Walker, Hartlett

OUTS: Browne, Anderson, Edwards

Bold= Time for a spell, I would love to see all of those guys playing this week. I know people say you can't have that many changes but I think we really need to freshen up some areas and create the feeling that if your not on the job 9/10 then it's time for the magoos.

Setanta???????

Just my humble opinion.

Good work Rats.

Agreed on Browney being stiff.

He, along with Jake, I would like to see stay in and develop but I guess it's hard finding spots now. Not that, that's a bad thing ;)

Can hardly wait to see Walker again, and hopefully Waite actually has a run in CHF, which he should if Austin is in. Which is great to see. :)

Love the ins. Very unfortunate for Browney.

Very positive by the CFC.

Hopefully Hartlett comes in for Wiggins and they play a four pronged forward line with Edwards, Hartlett, Fisher, Fevola. But with Austin in, Waite could play up forward with one of the two.

How on earth Russell is certain to get a game of Carrazzo is beyond me.

have not seen Austin kick a foot and would have no idea what he looks like, he has been pumped up on here, so I'll be very interested to see how he goes. Good luck to the kid, hope he is named!

I'd Like to see

Carrazzo, Hampson, Hartlett and Pfeiffer on the bench.

Think it's about time Kreuzer had a week or two break. Nice to see Austin giving a game.

Oh and I agree Russell should be dropped.

Glad to see Aussie and Walks in.

Hope to see Pfieffer come in for Carrazzo and Hartlett in for Edwards. I'd imagine Hampson will come in for Kreuzer.

I think it's quite possible that Kreuzer could play as a mobile around the ground ruckman against Everitt and Jolly and beat them around the ground, but Hammer and Cloke could go up against them in the center square.

We just had a week break, he's fine.

Agree, i think this is what they will do.

So Russell survives - what the? The MC seriously love him.:( I know they want to keep improving him, but this is getting beyond a joke. At least put him back for one week to show you aren't happy with the skill errors. Thought Browne had a way better game against St. Kilda than him. Seems Irish did himself no favours with a shocking game in the Ants, but good to see Austin in for his second game.

I reckon it could be:
Ins: Austin, Walker, Hampson, Hartlett
Outs: Anderson, Browne, Kreuzer, Edwards

I'd like to see Hartlett get a go over Edwards. And I think they will drop Kreuzer back even though he's had a rest not long ago.

On a funnier note, interesting to see they named Russell on the wing to keep him away from goals! Means we have two star midfielders in Stevens and Murphy on the half-forward flanks though! Would be funny if they actually lined up like that.

It's gotten to the stage where i'm hoping for Russell to obtain an injury. I've never wished injuries on our own players before but i have now!

Perhaps think a little before you post in future dude. That's poor.

I like the look of our side, and i hope like anything Harts ends up in the 22, even if it's at Edwards' expense. Not a bad game to bring Aussie in, as Sydney's forward line's not looking as scary as it used to with Big Bad Bustling and Schneider running around. Fingers crossed 1AW's shoulder holds up.

l don't agree with dropping Kruezer when he has only just had a week off and he is a major part of long term future, particularly when Cloke was sub-standard last week and really gave the saints two simple goals in the last quarter, and Edwards shown nothing last week to inspire any confidence in his ability at senior level.

Where they were selected means nothing come matchday. ;)

I think we can win this game after seeing the ins, but my head says Sydney will get up and win this game.

But at least we're finally on track to becoming a good side and competitive again. :)

I said earlier this week that JR won't be omitted. I think Browne is a fair call, after last week, if I was Ratts I would of dropped him.

He's still young and learning. Plenty of time for him to get back up.

I think Saddington is stiffed. Thats where me and Ratts differ.
