Awesome to see.

Hope both Edwards and Jackson get a game. Maybe Bannister and McGrath out?

Bower, Edwards, Jackson, Smith, Blackwell, O'hAilpin. Now that's what I like to see. Bower starting on a wing=GREAT! Back poxkes for Setanta=GREAT!

Hopeful bench of Blackwell, Smith, Jackson, Edwards! Would LOVE to see that!!!

Finally get the sense we are injecting youth and going places!

GO BLUES!!!

That's my ideal bench to but I think in reality edward's will probably miss out as he hasn't done that much with the ants. Would love to see him play though.

Oustanding to see Ryan Jackson in the line up. Cant wait to see him make his debut, it that indeed happens.

It will happen as Pagan has already confirmed that he will be in the 22.

Thats exciting to see, i think Jackson will play not sure of edwards.

Id also suggest McClaren would get a game after some outstanding form in the VFL.

For me ins would be Jackson and Edwards for Mgrath and Banno

realistically i think it might be Jackson, Mcclaren for Banno and J Smith

Team sounds nice the only thing i dont like is the sunday partt... we never get a good run of friday ands saturday gamess... every game is a sunday

Really impressed with these selections. I want a competitive effort - perhaps not a win though for obvious reasons. :)

very obvious reasons.
Best scenario
- both teams kick a bag - exciting to watch.
- Fev ends up with +90 goals for the year
- Walks hangs onto one whislt standing on Goodes shoulders
- Eddie shows it wasn't a fluke and nails another boundry line 6 pointer
- Jackson goals with first kick in the AFL
- Setanta runs the length of the ground, 5 bounces, slots it through the middle [unfortunately takes goal of the year of Eddie]
- Hoops delivers another hip and shoulder, gets reported, gets off.
- Sydney kick a point after the final siren, SYDNEY win by a point.
- Carlton get Gibbs

2007 - cannot wait!

Or if the Bombers win tonight, then a win to us would still see us with 1st pick:) (but we'd lose the priority :( ) and still have the wooden spoon!

I hope we put up a show but am sure we'll be outclassed. Swans will win the flag again i reckon.

Final interchange just confirmed, Blackwell teague jackson Mcgrath. No smith I just cannot understand the logic in pagans thinking. To give him limited game time then send him packing, like a mongrel dog is just cruel. Here is hoping that jesse gets another chance elsewhere, as carlton have been totally poor with the way they have handled him. He is a gun and they have shafted his progress by continueing to play him in defencive roles, not giving him a chance to shine. Poor people skills by all at carlton, have heard that quite a few players were disgusted with the amount of game time smith has had. Another kid abused by the system, if he wasdrafted instead of rookied he would of played at least 10 games by now.

Don't get too cut up about it. He's had a taste, now he's been moved back to the twos to be a part of the Bullants premiership charge. Doesn't mean he's been discarded forever. I do agree he should've got more game time tho.

But more importantly....how on earth can you go for Carlton AND Essendon?? That's like being a vegetarian lion!

i have to agree with you kickgoals, jesse smith has been shafted badly. hardly had any time at all to settle in and show his skills. he is a gun if he can get into the game and not be in defence all the time. i have watch some of the bullants games and he has blitzed. let's hope some of the other clubs are interested and prepared to give him a go
