Bahrain bans Big Brother

THE Arab version of reality TV show Big Brother has been scrapped after it caused a public outcry in Bahrain, where it was being filmed.

In a first for the global show, men and women were barred from each other's sleeping quarters.
There was also a prayer room, a separate women's lounge and a mixed-sex communal area.

But the changes were not enough for some.

Student Maryam al-Sayrafi said it was not normal for males and females to be in the same house for a long time.





To be honest, reality tv is the ****test thing ever invented, but whats the go with these people.

Nothing wrong with that, their worldview and the way they live is very different to ours, BigBrother just doesnt appeal to them.

Their worldview is just different to ours and that lifestyle offends it i spose. Just not appealing to that people group.

It can occasionally seem a little more dignified and civilised.

The microphone in the prayer room could have been interesting. First go the diary room and ask Big Brother for anything, and if you don't get any satisfaction then appeal to a higher authority...

Errr, I think you missed the point. The pint wasn't whether or not Big Brother was a ratings winner but rather their was too many things that go against their way of living. I'm convinced the onlt reason you got into uni was because you were such a goody goody that you spent all your non-school hours doing homework. Your common sense is out the window.
