Alan Smith attacked by Huddersfield fan - No Punishment
Clint Hill attacked by Sheffield Wednesday fan - minimal punishment
Shane Lowry attacked by carlisle fan - minimal punishment
Kirkland attacked by Leeds fan - Every single living person supporting Leeds can't go to another football match in the world ever for the next 2000 years.

Where was the media outrage when those Carlisle fans invaded the pitch and attacked the Leeds players, including Lowry(on loan at the time) at full time in the jpt? The double standards, reputation or not, are ridiculous.

MOT!

Finally a win for Rovers after 4 games without success, 1-0 over Shef Wed. Must admit I was watching the Champions League though so got no idea how we played (far more interesting stuff).

Really surprised that Freedman left Palace considering they are one of the form teams in the division, Bolton must be paying him triple what palace were.

Redalert, was listening to snn this morning and they pretty much said that Wednesday dominated despite losing.

Simon Jordan's take on it;

FORMER Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan believes Dougie Freedman joined Bolton because he was no longer wanted.
Freedman has steered Palace to fourth in the Championship but quit this week to take the vacant role at struggling Bolton – a move which has mystified many.
Jordan said: “Looking at the situation with Dougie, I think maybe Crystal Palace didn’t want him for some perverse reason and that this may have presented them with a situation that solved their problems.

Cheers, I'll take that though, a wins still a win after all.

Heard some rumours that ol' 'arry has his name in the hat to manage blackburn

please god let this happen

I don't see it happening though, I reckon it's Venkys spin. The guy could fairly easily find a Prem job, I don't think he'd lower himself to the Championship.

he'd also run rovers into the ground (economically)..

I was hoping it would be a sam allardyce situation, get sacked and then sign for team wanting to break back into premier league. very wishful thinking on my part.

What odds of Charlie Austin seeing out the season at Burnley? Absolute machine.

Agree, I see him being poached by a lower-tier prem team during the January transfer window, although at the same time I do see a bit of the Jay Rodriguez in him. A great player whos in form, but one I'm not sold can make the transition into the Prem.

I think Ebanks-Blake or Chopra would probably be a better comparison in that regard. Austin has already bettered Rodriguez's most prolific league scoring season in 15 games.

What an enormous 3 points for Palace, 10 unbeaten now with 7 wins. Wins at Charlton, Bolton, Wolves and now the previous 100% home record Leicester. Dikgacoi, Garvan, Murray, Delaney (couldn't get a game at Ipswich) and Jedinak on fire and Zaha's a magician.

This may not last, but bloody enjoying this right now. Dougie gone too, its all happening at the palace, never is dull with us. Beauty is we're a much more attractive job for a new manager than we were two years ago when Dougie took over with nothing.

What the hell is Dougie thinking? Loved by everyone at Palace, 4th in the league, goals coming from everywhere, Zaha not for sale in January, and he jumps ship to a spent force in Bolton, going against all the values he has instilled in his players. He is getting more money (not as much more as is being reported) but he gets one chance to get Bolton back up or he will be chewed up and spat out in 12 months time.

Can't ever hate the bloke but, YOUR LOSS DOUG!!!
