How when picking one over the other means more points. Its all situational.

If i picked Bugg the only week i wouldve played him would have round 2.

Who are you playing ahead of him? Hunt/Ellis/Morris? :o makes obvious sense when they're averaging 30 points less:rolleyes:

Jonathon Giles, props to you man

it was a late decision to make you my no.2 ruck and use the extra $$$ for a high-priced mid

I made what looks to be a mistake by picking Mumford, so even though I went with 2 premo rucks I've played Giles twice. He's knocked out tons both times. Legend :thumbsu:

And it makes me happy I went for 2 premo rucks, because if I hadn't I would've had Mumford, Giles, Redden and Stephenson this round.

Giles just might end up being an R2 keeper. Unlike Zac Smith last year, Giles is 24 and physically at least, looks like he's at his peak right now. Very good tap ruckman from what I have seen so far as well as a good contested mark and able to kick a goal or two when playing forward. A 90+ season average is not completely out of the question IMHO as I can't see a reason why he would tail off. If anything he should improve a bit more as the season goes on. Could very well be a Mumford Mk2 type.

Even though he was only on my bench, kudos to Brandon Ellis, as much for his playing style as his score. The last time I saw Richmond play was the Carlton match, in which he looked unconfident, timid and afraid to get the ball. In today's game he was in full cheap ball seeking mode. If he keeps that up, scores in the 70's should be the norm for him.

I dont have Bugg thats what im saying.

Wouldnt have played him round 1 vs sydney (tough to score against)

Round 2 after his 97 wouldve p0layed him round 2 ahead of Morris - loses me 20 points

Round 3 after his avg 50 and playing westcoast (very tough to score against) wouldnt have played him, scores 93.

After his 93 wouldve played him in round 4 ahead of Ellis lose points.

Thats why by picking Hunt im worse of in regards to value they have made but would have a higher ranking and more points.

Did you check how much you need to make up from last round. That would be minus 54 .... now bragging because of plus 11.... Credibility of that post = -43

Thats what im saying why would i pick Bugg in round 3 coming off an avg NAB and avg score of 57 in round 2. I wouldve picked Morris/Ellis vs Melbourne just common sense really and therefore i wouldnt gain any points in round 3. Bugg was playing WCE any one that does research and doesnt rely on luck (yourself) would understand its hard to score against them.

Ryan Hargrave I LOVE YOU! :thumbsu:

James Magner - getting up after hurting your ankle and scoring more points! :thumbsu:

Solid last few mins by Hargrave. Loved his two marks in 10 secs. Ended up get 2040 thanks to him.

Nope I played Bugg as he had shown much better signs of being able to get a high score than ellis/morris

Dustin Martin for a better performance finally. Needs to keep tackling and get AT LEAST 4 marks a game.

Golby for cracking out a ton in which I held off getting rid of him.

Broughton for following up on his 100+ with 90+.

Ellis & Hall for solid performances whilst Shaw & Fyfe were on the bench.

and of course.. STANTS. captain against the no-tagging collingwood this week fo sho

Kudos to Gaj for getting injured. This was the only reason why i didn't pick him (he rarely plays every game). Please be out for a couple of weeks, to make my decision less stupid.

The problem isn't who you selected so much as coming out and saying Hunt did better than Bugg. Those of us with Bugg from the start are way ahead compared to Hunt.

DWD is the king of spin. campaigner is his B7, has been since Rd1. As if he wouldn't have started Bugg from Rd2 onwards (at the least) if he had him or traded him in afterwards. 1st year Rookie defenders averaging near on 80 don't come around very often. To back campaigner and not bring in Bugg before his first price rise is pure stupidity. But hey, at least campaigner outscored Bugg by 11 points last round and that's all that matters to the self proclaimed mathematical genius.

Bugg :)

Ellis/Morris is my B7, K.Hunt is my B9.

Why would i have started Bugg (vs eagles) coming off a 57 ahead of Ellis/Morris coming off 61/77 vs (melbourne easiest team to score against)?? :o:eek::o

@Mattrox who scored more at of Bugg and K.Hunt on the weekend?

The only way im down is the money he has made

EDIT: I agree those that started Bugg are way ahead because they dont do research and wouldve started him every week, whereas i would have only played him in R2 and R4 coming off very good scores and against weaker opposition. So i would be behind in points by either 24 but then with that would have 100k extra roughly.

I don't mind Hunt as a bench option from the start just due to JS. I'm sure he'll get better scores as the rounds continue, but he may not be consistent and after a couple of low scoring games in a row, he might be a downgrade target in the future. I'm looking for price fluctuations.

Of all the weeks for stevie j to be suspended, this week has got to be the best, with the vice captain on swan, i will put sj as captain. If not then i would not have got the swan captain

Didn't he successfully challenge it?
