Deal for Kagawa seems to be done and will be finalised Wednesday according to reports (their time), £17m i believe. Would have prefered Hazard but for half the price, Kagawa isn't a bad 2nd option, will be a very good player for us.

You failed to include the part about saying where he would play is where he would sign.

Didn't need to include it, you said that Hazard NEVER mentioned wearing the no.10, but he infact did, that's why i brought it up.

Kawaga is not a bad consolation prize, and a fair bit cheaper than Hazard too.

Well be much better than a consolation prize IMO. Great on both feet, great ability to play killer through balls and knows where the goals are. Potentially a 6-7 year player of the highest quality.

Great for marketing as well!

Liverpool need to get cracking and get a manager...and then get cracking in the transfer market. I want cavani...but other teams are probably already right into him while liverpool yanks piss fart around interviewing for the top job inbetween watching NBA playoffs

Martinez, Dzeko and Mathieu all going to Munich

Pizarro already confirmed joining free transfer

Rodgers doesnt play short passing football. He pays triangle passing football. A big difference IMO as the latter is highly revolving around you outnumbering the opposition in the midfield. If teams played a 4-5-1 vs Swansea all season they would of had a ton more success. All teams will do this vs Liverpool killing the game plans effectiveness in its entirety

Liverpool have about as much chance of signing Cavani as West Ham do.

How anyone believes the Manchesters want Cisse is beyond me. They wouldnt be dumb enough to try and make a bid

Adam Johnson aint going to Sunderland. Not unless he wants to half his wages.

Kagawa will be the best pound for buck player to date (even better then Marin perhaps). At 13 mill pounds that is a bargain for a player of his class

Scholes appears to have extended with United. Oh dear... Some people need to know when to retire. Should never have come back.

You are either joking or clueless.

Should never had retired. There is a reason why players like Iniesta rate him as the best midfielder in the game.

There is a reason why England were desperate for him to play internationals again.

Class of the highest order. Although I hope he's gametime is less then last season. If this happens it means we have finally got a player to replace him.

Giggs is the one who should look at retirement.

Looks like were close to signing Rodgers as manager. No idea what to say to that.

Or who in the hell we would be after transfers wise.

It's a terrible signing as manager. Lose a couple of game and they will be calling for him to be sacked. Just doesn't have the credentials to justify "sticking with it".

Should have chucked everything at someone like Laurent Blanc.

Nice effort giving the bloke a chance...

Might be horrible. Might be a master stroke. Guess we will find out soon enough.

Only reason we pushed City all the way was because he came back. We dropped points in the games Scholes was not in the starting 11.

Scott Sinclair, Ibrahim Afellay, Salomon Kalou have been quickly link by Caughtoffside
http://www.caughtoffside.com/2012/0...rendan-rodgers-sets-sights-on-attacking-trio/

Nice cheap options...Kalou as a free agent must be a priority?

Hamit Altintop is also linked as he is looking to get out of Madrid
http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-n...ace-fight-galatasaray-real-madrid-star-173204

A couple of players I want us to target are Cavani, Marin, and Tello...these 3 together with free agent Kalou would solve alot of attacking creativity and scoring problems

Surely there's serious concerns about appointing a guy who's only past managerial experience (besides Swansea) is at championship level. I'm assuming Liverpool supporters want to see the club in European competitions within the next few seasons, but I really can't see this guy getting them there on the basis of his current record. Good luck but they should have stuck with Kenny or at least hired someone who's actually familiar with Champions League football :thumbsu:

Marin has signed for Chelsea

and Tello is extremely unlikely, unless he suffers a Gio Dos Santos fall from grace
