it's funny (weird) that i'm not american, no one i know has been affected, but i feel like my heart has been ripped out.

maybe it's just human compassion

I think what shocks me is not the loss of life.... we see that so often in the world.... but the manner in which it was lost and what this means for the world we live in... the most powerful nation on earth has been brought to its knees and suddenly the world doesn't seem as stable anymore.
