Hi people,
I have a game which I created for another forum, and it is a bit of fun that does not require much effort (except to me
)
It is called:
Big Bad Bov's Ladder Game
The game itself is simple. You (whoever wants to play) give me their ladder prediction for the end of the Home and Away series.
Each week I compare the actual ladder against your predictions. You get a score accordingly. Now the scoring is like Golf, so the smaller the score the better you go.
So how does this work Mr Bovo, I hear you ask.
For every ladder position you get correct you get a score of 0. For every position that is not correct, you get a point for the difference of that position.
So lets say you pick (using 4 just for the example) as your ladder prediction:
Adelaide
Brisbane
Sydney
Fremantle
Round 1
Sydney
Adelaide
Brisbane
Fremantle
For round 1:
Sydney is 2 spots from your prediction so you get 2 points
Adelaide is 1 spot from your prediction so you get 1 point
Brisbane is 1 spot from your prediction so you get 1 point
Fremantle is 0 spots from your prediction so you get 0 points.
For round 1 you get a total of 4 points. Each week there is a round winner, and the scores are concatenated each week to reveal and end of season winner.
Hopefully that all makes sense, and feel free to ask questions. I will only set it up if there is a good number of people interested. It does take a fair bit of time for The Bov (although I am more than happy to do this).
Who is interested?
