Interesting things can happen at the national party nominating conventions. I'm still in the camp that everyone is waiting for what happens to Trump, but that is looking more and more like worse case scenario for the Dems. If there is a Dem rebellion that succeeds and leaves the convention with momentum, they've a good chance IMHO.
Anyway, it's going to be a long spring and summer may bring changes.

Interesting things can hypothetically happen, but probably won't. A Democratic rebellion against Biden doesn't really have numbers anywhere even at the popular level (Michigan would have been where it might have shown up in primaries, but didn't). The Democrat party is more united than the GOP for sure, but while Haley ended up running a strong and defiant campaign, Trump, and fear of Trump and the Trump supporters, still dominates that party.
Bottom line unless Trump or Biden either die or get totally disabled (beyond their already clear impairments) they are the nominees and I don't see anything changing that.

That's going to lead to chaos for the party and no way the staff who left are going to be happy. You can't engineer that level of division and dissent without some serious long term costs for them in the future.

All these venal VP suckups really should be called out more in their home districts. Just shame them and then shame again, over and over. TV ads showing their duplicity and lack of ethics. Instead of asking them whether they will accept the election outcome in general, ask them if they will accept a GOP victory if it were proven that there was Republican election fraud that decided the result.
Give one of them that without any warning and the squirm would be entertaining and very telling.
Though I'm sure they would have spin bullet point deflections distributed quickly afterward.

Another one I would ask them to their face was if their sort of side-swapping, immoral, naked ambition were the marks of good character and leadership.

They must not be allowed to survive politically after this election. At least on the national stage.
