Anyone manage to get on Sydney with the $2 fave? I tried when it first opened up and all I got was "multiples are not permitted" over and over again until it closed. No bets in the bet slip, logged in and out, just wouldn't work.

Got on Brisbane though, that was great.

Next time it happens just try adding something random like tennis, then try again.

Yes a very good promo.

From what I can see the main catch is that your deposit must actually be bet by next Thurday to get the freebie. It's possible that they'll tighten their prices up a bit until then but even so it is still well in the punter's favour this one...

I continue to be really impressed with Betstar and tonight they have proven why they are so far and away my favourite bookie.

My balance was a fair bit less than what I was expecting, so I checked my transaction history and I noticed my one unit stake on "any other player" to score most goals was returned to me, even though Harry Taylor kicked the most goals and wasn't listed in the market.

I entered the live chat and at first the representative wasn't able to provide me with a reasoning, but he mentioned he would get in contact with the trader and email me back when he receives a response. I thanked him and was about to exit the chat until he told me to hang on a second. He actually phoned the trader while he was in the chatroom with me, and within two minutes my balance was adjusted and my bet settled as a winner. Absolutely brilliant customer service. I would have been more than happy with a simple email, but to go out of his way and call the trader, I thought that was great.

For those of you who enjoy a bit of a punt, but don't have an account with Betstar, you're crazy IMO. What are you waiting for? Get one of your mates to refer you.

I'm a big betstar fan, but surely you having to chase them up for their mistake warrants a cross rather than a tick?
