I also reckon you need a shower on the ground floor, with a pool in the backyard a shorter nearby would be needed.

The self-contained flat/studio should have been built to service the pool area and house guests (it has a bathroom/shower). That was the biggest criticism of those areas by the judges because the majority of the contestants just focused on the room their doing and did not think about how it flowed with the rest of the home. We saw that again in the home office week where some literally built an office, and didn't think about how that space should be flexible for a number of uses. So, I can understand why some have deleted the shower if it's not necessary.

Yeah I have noticed that. Steph is no doubt bit of an odd ball, but there seems to be some dislike towards her.

End of the day 7 shades of Arrowroot currently had 2/3 room wins and they are not looking down a financial hole.

The angst toward Steph is female jealousy in action, IMO. Steph is a very talented/smart person with self-confidence, which rubs Leah & Kristy the wrong way because it intimidates them. So their defense mechanism is to be bitchy and catty behind Steph's back. Given Steph has now won a couple of rooms also adds to this.

I feel like Leah drives most of that bitchiness toward Steph. I've noticed in the background of shots at challenges and reveals that Kristy and Brett seem to get along with with Steph and Gian whereas I don't see any of that from Leah and Ash

Loved Leah bringing the the stylist for that room when the judging score was based on it being a shit layout and a waste to not have another bedroom option/if it was to be turned into a bedroom the fireplace is blocked and wasted. It wasn't finished either
