It's been "in" on the block for 20 years hasn't it? When that's what your judges want its generally what the rooms become.

I've been going crazy for the last 13 hours or so, those steps in H2 remind me of somewhere, but I can't put my finger on it.

The year TB had that crazy person who could not pay the money after auction- they were nice uses of colour iirc. Palm Springs type house was cool.

It's a nice lamp tho I like it. IIRC got it same day delivery, marked down from $99 to $70.

H5 was ordinary but you have to have one 2 houses that fight it out for top positions each week. Plus it creates even more drama between H2 and H5. No mention of H5 finishes, there was paint all over everything, no curtains in the dining room on 2 windows and a fireplace smack in the middle of the room with 2 camping chairs around it not to mention the whole place hadn’t been styled, yet whatsherface judging gushes all over it. Yeah right. Guaranteed the other couples will bag it tonight too for finishing second.

I was reading over the weekend that they were meant to be doing Daylesford next year, but they've scrapped it cos the council were being difficult. (Which was interesting after we recently discussed on this thread about why they move around so little.)

Tonight they're in Daylesford for the overnight trip for the winners.

I'm going to die laughing if 9 are so childish that they edit them in getting bogged, restaurants being closed, toilets being dirty etc - just making it look like a real shithole.

It's a strange location, but apparently a really popular holiday spot. I haven't been either, so I don't know what's there - but it's not really commutable to the city every day, I'm fairly sure it's not on the V-line network, and who wants to go to the bush as their weekender if you can go to the beach (or even the snow)?

I didn't realise last night how napable house 5's couch looks - I think I was too busy loving the artwork in the dining room.
