we're already in the ACL

if we win the GF we get an auto spot but if we lose sunday we get the half spot, which means we'll have a play off game

not sure what happens if we make the GF but lose. i think we only get the half spot not 100% sure

The arrogance of Victory fans certainly knows no bounds.

1) You didn't win the Premiership, so you have not qualified for A-League. CCM qualified last season by winning the A-League Premiers Plate

2) Even if you make the GF, your spot is not guaranteed. Unless there has been ANOTHER change to the Australian qualification (Perth missed out on ACL last season despite making the GF). Brisbane qualified by winning the Championship match.

I am happy to be shown otherwise.

But until then, run off back to Victory thread.

Matt Jurman, Stef Nijland and James Meyer have been released. Dissapointed that they're not offering Meyer a contract extension. I thought he did well in his time for us. Not surprised about the others though. I wish them all the best nonetheless.

I thought Jurman was actually pretty decent, I can see him getting picked up by another A-league club.

Been a while but time to start getting ready for the new season...

What does everyone think our best side is at the start of the season?

Subs from: Acton, Donachie, Hingert, Brown, Fereirra, Petratos

There are probably a few I've missed...defensively we have great cover this year and I think Brown will eventually take Steffs spot. Donachie and Hingert are worthy A League starters in most sides. Miller, Bratten, McKay is as good a midfield as any and Broich Berisha is a top quality strike force with Yeboah likely to emerge as a good young player as well. Not sure on Ferierra or Petratos to be honest...will have to wait and see where they fit in. Overall our best 11 is as good as any and if Mulvey does his job well we should challenge again after last years frustrations...can't wait.

Pretty much agree with that, but can see Hingert starting at RB, provided that he is fit (is he fit), with Franjic shifting to right wing at the expense of Yeboah.

Must admit I find the gold wrapping interesting, also completed my registration for The Coffee Club VIP membership, but I probably won't use it, the coffee there is awful and the food is ridiculously expensive (seriously, $12 for a pie).
