gin & vin to be the next small collingwood forward to tear us up no doubt.............they keep finding these little shits...........
A lock down small defender would be nice - struggling to think of one since Matthew Hogg.

How often do you get a 20 possession chain leading to a score?
If you're involved in a scoring chain, you get a SI. I think it's a pretty good stat.
If only we had one that has kept Papley and Cameron - the two best small forwards in the AFL - to a combined total of 8 goals in their last 3 meetings each (6 matches) against the Blues.A lock down small defender would be nice - struggling to think of one since Matthew Hogg.
I reckon we may have a player on our list who could fulfil this role: Cottrell. Very fast and has a massive tank. Great at defensive pressure and has mongrel about him. He’d do well on players like Cameron and Papley.A lock down small defender would be nice - struggling to think of one since Matthew Hogg.

We prefer a circular ballet of handballs in ever tightening spirals reminiscent of a dying scene in Swan Lake.Rewatched the 99 prelim with MR BR junior #2 and was struck at the long precise sweeping handballs that opened up the opposition …. Just saying.
As crap as Alpine (mums choice)Marlboro were crap ciggies.
Responsible for the demise of the HTB rules, he and Geishen pretty much destroyed it…found him pretty harmless except for his stint on the rules committee.......
No current season stats available
Kane reckons Sam Walsh isn’t a damaging midfielder so far this year, comparing him to Touk Miller. They used Score Involvements as a metric, Walsh is averaging 7 a game which I think is pretty good, given that Petracca is at 8.7, Andy Bradshaw at 8.3 and Oliver at 7.5? For context, Touk is at 4, so I’m not sure that Walsh and Touk are in the same category.
EDIT:
Whoops, sorry mods - didn't mean to post it in the game day thread, went blind with rage when I heard Kane's postulation that Walsh may not be damaging because he is only having 7 Score Involvements per game.
I actually don't mind the bloke just don't like when he goes after people for the sake of going after them. Why are you even talking about him, linking his ideas for others to see? You know he goes away if you ignore him, right?
Well, I do. I find him boorish, his analysis poor and intended to get a rise out of you instead of any insight.I actually don't mind the bloke just don't like when he goes after people for the sake of going after them.
i.e. Walsh, Ginnivan, Josh Kelly etc.
Seems you’re the one biting on him more than I, perhaps you’d be best suited following your own advice and ignoring him?Well, I do. I find him boorish, his analysis poor and intended to get a rise out of you instead of any insight.
He's a postmodern journalist; it doesn't matter what's true or false, it's getting eyes on the page or the screen that matters.
But that's the thing: I am ignoring him. You'll have noticed I've not said his name once in these posts. I don't watch his shows, nor do I click on his articles or listen to radio stations which employ him. I have, insofar as I'm able, eliminated myself from his revenue streams.Seems you’re the one biting on him more than I, perhaps you’d be best suited following your own advice and ignoring him?
I don't agree with any of that. Controversy manufactured for consumption isn't interesting or thought provoking, but to each their own I 'spose.I agree with your assessment to a degree though, probably best surmised as a contrarian.
Does provide good “four walls” type insight and controversial takes are more interesting and thought provoking than the drivel 95% of the AFL media spouts.
I feel this article is not 100% accurate. The situation at Footscray as recently reported is directly related to the club. 'Little League' was a separate group that utilised the names of existing clubs. This is not to deny or minimise harm caused. Nor does it obviate clubs responsibility insofar as they were willing to accept other entities using their name. As a person who has had family members affected by sexual abuse, I am sensitive to these issues. But I think there are some good insights in existing thread. We do not look good here.

The time has arrived for professional sporting bodies to get real about their histories of child sex abuse
As survivors continue to come forward to tell their stories, it is surely time that major sporting institutions perform their own, unsparing investigations into historical child sexual abuse, writes Russell Jackson.www.abc.net.au
Fair call! Can't agree, so agree to disagree. More than reasonable opinions though, have a great one.But that's the thing: I am ignoring him. When I see others having a whinge about him it makes me significantly more annoyed at them than I am at him. I thought that was what you were doing; if not, play on.

He missed the last 2 games last year with a high grade a.c injury and went in for surgery. Was constantly grabbing at it in the few games leading up to then.Hey everyone, was just wondering what the deal is with the cut/burn /nasty looking scar on the front of Harry McKay's right shoulder? Sometimes in games he wears a patch on it other time he doesn't.
Is that from a recent surgery? Does anyone know how it happened or what it actually is?
