Maclure says "Plowman can't compete" - don't understand the continuous hate for Plow. Thought he was our second best defender on the weekend.

When it is completely unfounded and based on nothing what else can it be? Macclure states that Plowman can't play on Gray - did pretty well on him last year and didn't see Plowman as a direct matchup on Gray for his goals

answer me this - why would someone who probably hasn't even met plowman, has not had him done anything to him good or bad, decide to "hate" him? can you see how ridiculous this sounds? he hasn't shot anyone, murdered someones family, committed genocide against a race - that's worthy of hate maybe

Hate my not be the best word but surely you understand where I'm coming from. Any time we lose the first person a lot of CFC supporters blame is Lachie when he has had a solid year. This myth that he turns the ball over is the biggest lie going around - AFL stats have him as above average for disposal efficiency + hes elite for intercept marks. Has also increased his no of possessions from last year and become more attacking. I guess I'm just frustrated that he clearly tries his hardest yet gets abused every time we lose.

why - how many times do I have to say the same things? plowman doesn't always get a bake every time we lose - he does when he plays like shit - he's the most polarising player in the team - along with sps - you think he's great - others don't - that's footy - try to be less extreme with your commentary - the end

Sam mcclure one sticking up for the club, dow, cripps, those in kane's "bottom six" (singling out newnes and gibbons) etc. on footy classified. To me he usually comes over pretty fair-weather so was pretty refreshing. Whether you agree with his comments or not, at least it was a public showing of a differing end of the emotional spectrum that comes with following the blues which has been quite lopsided recently

could 'hate' that action, surely not the human being...
That segment on footy classified was a complete mess. Talking over the top of each other we never got full views and comments from any of them but they all thought they new best and want to rip into us. None of them had it right although each had a bit right... development, game plan, too few contributors, players out of position, lack of opportunity, senior players in the way, members unhappy.
Gee I hate it when we're in the spotlight but right now I think we deserve to be and really hope it affects some change at the club and on the coaches as something needs to give.

Can I just remind a few here that Port just came off a win against the reigning premiers, a team that some are rating higher than the hawks and brisbane great teams. This was not a fluke win against the tigers, there was no way that they were not taking Port seriously, the Tiges were up for a fight and gave it their best shot- and lost. That tells me that Port is a very good side- possibly great. They also finished minor premiers in 2020.
We wasted a lot of chances, and, had they been taken, the result would have been closer. This was clearly a better side that beat us, but it was not a thrashing, although, given the build up we all gave it, it was a very disappointing result; Calls to change coaches and poison pen articles like Maclure are predictable knee jerk reactions. So far we have done what we needed to do against the GCS and Dockers. We were never expected to beat either the tigers or Port. the next month will tell us more, but in the meantime, I will be giving the players and DT my support

He cops a bake a hell of a lot when he doesn't play like shit though. Been 3rd and 4th in the B&F the last 2 years, yet constantly has people calling for him to be dropped.
