We need some tactical/structural nous in the coaching box because I don't think that's Voss' strength. Hansen might be it - not sure. They need longer than a year to prove one way or another, I think.

Given Andrew Russell's remit (I believe) is having the playing list physically and mentally ready to perform at a high level, I'd say his position needs to be closely scrutinized. This does not mean summarily executed and dragged through the streets... but we need to have a proper look at whether we're getting our players on the park consistently enough and whether whatever we're doing to be "ready" in the mind is effective or not (I would say not).

Even if it’s not directly Russell’s fault our fitness/ conditioning has been terrible for years now and it’s time for someone else to have a go at managing it better. Russell’s methods just might not be compatible with this group.

Considering his reputation and likeliness to be in demnad, coupled with this clubs penchant around money it certainly wouldn't be cheap.

As far as injuries, why so many leg/feet issues? The amount of soft tissue injuries this year (and recurring ones) was ridiculous

I'd like us to get another quaLity midfielder, 2 quality wingers and also Brody Grundy.

Sounds like a Christmas wish list. Sorry Mr Ed it doesn't work like that.

Think that we've got the midfield covered. With our first 5 and options with setters and doc all I would like there is for David Cuningham to get a full season. That would top us off and allow Walsh, cerra and Cuningham to spend time on the wings as required. Also you have Philp, Carroll and maybe Kemp pushing up.

I just don't see the Grundy thing happening personally.

To me the main thing that we need to work on is to deal with getting beaten on the counter punch. Part of it us that our current brand is very labour intensive and can't be sustained for 4 quarters. The other part is that when we huff and puff and can't kick the goals we should teams absorb the pressure (sometimes by the skin of their teeth) but set up to counter punch quickly. Stkilda did it to us, Melbourne as well. Every time Collingwood wanted to play contested footy they went to the members side, every time they wanted to counter punch quickly they went to the Shane Warne side and we found ourselves outnumbered. They knew that mihocek had weitering on the dead side and Cox had Young over there as well. They tried to engineer situations where Elliott and ginnivan had space and slower players marking them.

Elliott and Ginnivan between them kicked more goals than Harry and Charlie. That should never happen.

We're not getting anymore quality through the door. With that money? Only role players now to improve our bottom 6

Well articulated BF.

Lots to work on over the off season.

What's a girl gotta do to get some decent Carlton merch
The womens' gear is WORSE than ever. Give me a 90s training top or give me death!
It's so ****ing annoying. Junk.

I mean the umpires didn't pay a free kick, so not sure what they would have against him?
I thought Matt Stevic (maybe) sub consciously was keen to pay us and Cripps back against Melbourne.

We had different umpires in the final two games than we did against Brisbane. There was a feeling in the afl community that we had "gamed" the system to get Cripps off.

If I heard correctly, the Prendercast guys made a point in this weeks podcast that the CFC monogram on the jumper should be embossed or a traditional 'raised' monogram.

What do people think ?

Pretty inpressive when you consider we only had the 4 home games at the G. For reference the Pies had 9.
