Hmmm, I just had a guy at work tell us that he was riding his motorbike around Ballan on Sunday, and nearly crashed into the missing car!
He came around a bend, and found the Prius parked with two wheels on the road, two wheels off. Apparently there were two guys, one of them opened the drivers side door out onto the road, my work colleague had to slam on his brakes and swerve to miss the door.
He has been speaking to police and identified Herman Rockefeller as the man who opened the door.
The Police just called him and asked a few more questions, apparently they still don't really know what happened.

Not sure if I quite got the details right but some interesting developments on Channel 9 news tonight.
They said that police have been doorknocking and questioning his neighbours in Malvern, where they have asked if they saw the Prius on late on the Thursday night (the night he arrived in Melbourne and left the airport - but didn't take any of the toll roads) or late on Saturday night. Very interesting questions to be asking, under the circumstances.

Herald Sun would have pics of him, but they need to keep all their investigative reporters on the big stories, like Ben Cousins moving house and sipping latté.
No, apparently no link, according to the wife. Although she might just be saying that in case he was taken for that reason.

Incidentally, Hadfield is in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne, just off the ring road (so no Citylink needed from the airport.)
Both are the pretty much the same distance from Malvern, (Kyneton maybe a bit extra further out) around 80-90kms I'd say.
Although they are both pretty far apart from each other. One's on the way to Ballarat, the other is on the way to Bendigo.
They've moved up to my area, have they? Hadfield's but a stone's throw from where I live. Right next to the cemetery, too.
