it annoyed me last night when they stopped showing the Verdasco (which was 7-6, 2-2 in the 2nd at the time) match and switched the Serena Williams.

They warmed up but there wasn't really any points played, can't complain about seven not showing something that wasn't being played.
How come no-one's mentioned the shit standard definition pictures from ch 7 yet? They have an HD channel, how about using it? It's like night and day compared to watching the brilliant HD pictures on Foxtel's matches. Switching to a ch 7 match after having watched matches on Foxtel in HD is almost unbearable.
i stated this in the wimbledon thread. how awful is it? but it is the case with all sports not just wimbledon. i guess it depends on a lot of factors, cost? i mean how many people are actually watching it now. i agree its unbearable, but it is better than nothing
Yeah it's the same with the cricket and the footy as well and it blows. How about they get with the 21st century, where almost everyone has an HD TV, since they have their own HD channels? Watching the tennis on 7 is like watching archive footage of a match from the 1970's or 1980's or something.

They better show the Murray/Cilic game over the Ivanavic game, I mean ffs, do the HAVE to show every centre court match?!?!

I honestly think we don't have a hell of a lot to complain about, especially in comparison to AO. The fact they solely have actual tennis people there and not those leeches Hamish and Jo Griggs is already a positive. Although I was pissed off last night they just cut the coverage of the Djokovic-Troicki match as soon as it hit 4 AM, just show the rest FFS, no one cares about the American today show. They also advertised that they were gonna show Ash Barty in round 1, so I waited up, and they didn't show her.

Yeah, not much to complain about in comparison to the AO.
However two words. Tom Waterhouse. Comes from the Hammer McLachlan school of smugness. Sick of seeing his face every second ad and then on the coverage as well FFS.
