Toast The complete team performance

Ahh screw it, toast threads seem to be the theme of the night.

Instead of singling out players and forgetting about others, it must be said that today's game was the complete team performance. Generally there is one or two players that weren't all that good, but I can't pick out a single one. Even Davies came on and had an impact in his limited time on the field.

We knew we needed to win today, and we wouldn't accept anything less. Everyone knew they had a job to do and did it to perfection.

Fantastic performance by all.

To be honest, Essendons shithouse defence made or forwards look a little better than they were, but down back, in the guts and in the ruck we smashed them.

Led every stat that matters, and led convincingly.

Take that form out West next week, and its going to be a good match.

Particularly with clouds over Cox and Kerr.

haven't had so much fun watching a final for 12 years, a great progression...thought we'd lose this one, have become negative about our chances over the last month

Game was decided the moment Tayte Pears went off, to be honest. Their defensive effort after that was pathetic and as Malifice said made our forwards look trumps. Not that Pears would have saved the walloping that was to follow - and would have regardless, but from the moment they said that he was off we got on our massive roll that went from about the 20 minute mark of the first almost up to half time.

Amazing effort in the midfield and by our backline. Lachie Henderson's goal saving effort was the epitome of the whole team performance. Hate to borrow anything from the Hawks but it was truly all for one today.

Just wanted to add my appreciation to the team for their great team performance yesterday.

Well done, you earned it.

Would love the Subi crowd to see more of the same this Saturday.

I completely agree.

However can I just give a bit of love to Andy Carrazzo? Showed how much we've missed him. His disposal was good, he was surprisingly agile in close and never looked like getting caught by his opponents and really got into Watson and shut him down while getting the pill himself. He's a vital cog to our team when he's at his best like that.

Anyway, no passengers Great game, team.
