I'm into anything really. Whether it be from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s or 00s, I don't really mind. Most of my favourite music probably comes from the 70s and 80s, but I've got into a fair bit of the modern stuff in recent times.

Mustaine wanted Abbott, but Dimebag made his brother being hired as drummer a condition of joining. Megadeth had already hired Nick Menza to drum so it didn't work out.

I know man, but if I were Mustaine, I would have hired them both. Both are legends to me.

I'm planning my Dimebag tribute tattoo.

Mustaine also knocked back Kerry King.

IIRC the falling out with King was for the opposite reason - Mustaine wanted King to ditch Slayer and join Megadeth fulltime. King got pissed at him dissing his band as lightweights.

Mustaine's an arrogant prick, but he's one hell of a guitarist. And I will never forgive Hammett building his rep on his licks.

I think Metallica > Megadeth but not by much, and new Megadeth is way better than new Metallica.
But Iron Maiden > both.
