We just continue to recruit the wrong type of player and then double down.

There are many issues but this for me is the number 1 our talent identification across draft and trade is horrible it's so hit and miss.

Listened to the interview with Matt Kennedy after Dogs v Giants game. He said he was so grateful to the Dogs as there weren't many clubs interested in him. I'd be very disappointed if we weren't one of the few.

2 main impacters for us in 2026 will have to be Goater and Brayden George, if we can get these two on the park playing consistent footy then we will solve a problem that has haunted this club for the past 10 years, moving the ball with speed and long direct kicking out of the backline.

Couldn't agree more. Both clearly talented, AFL level athletes with skillsets that translate to the modern game. They're up against it, but there is some hope!

They're kicking off Rebuild 4.0..Starr from tall defenders. Rebuild 5.0 will be tall forwards.

Ha, just got sick of myself being negative and tried to focus on our areas of potential. We do have the bones of a good side..

So no influence from him, just my thoughts. But I'll still be a hard task master. It's AFL, not a 9 til 5 gig. It isn't real world, in the sense that 99% of our population won't experience this.
