It's quite a long read but well worth it, I initially stopped reading and went to the comments but after reading one particular comment I finished it.

More than 100 men replied to an advert on Craigslist offering work on a farm. Some of them were shot dead. The killers thought no one would miss their victims but, as Hanna Rosin reports, their story reveals a surprising truth about the emotional lives of men in a time of recession and family breakdown.

Thanks jozeph for the link well worth the read , I found the article well written by Hanna Rosin. A very sad story and of one evil man, Who prayed on innocent people trying to improve there financial situation in tough econmic times.

A very (very) similar case to one of the stories in the second Underbelly book, about an armed robber named Alex MacDonald. It's so similar, I can even see Beasley getting the initial idea from MacDonald's crime. Don't wish to hijack the thread, so I might start a different one about that case.
