well ive become too sick of the sort of thing hilighted in this thread and have decided to create what essentially is a troll page for my own amusement/venting.

what sort of things would you like to see?

I make no bones about the fact that its my day to day interactions here on bigfooty and in the real world that has lead to this, and I gain alot of inspiration from posts and posters here.

Well the first thing that came to mind was doing fictional "real" news stories on Crows footballers and staff, with a focus on sensationalizing the trivial. The UK humor mag Viz Comic always did this beautifully, usually homing in on a certain handful of British celebrities, well known and not so well known.

A fake letters page, fake classified ads of stereotypical crows fans perhaps. The possibilities are endless.

The main problem you're going to face is rights for photos used

My main criticism is that you're making it all about the Crows. This is in the category of `any publicity is good publicity', and I don't think it does much for Port fans or the club if its just spotlighting whats happening in other media.

There has to be an exposé piece on Crows supporters and their obsession with the lanyard.

I'd have a look online. I reckon there'd be a few satirical sporting publications online, particularly from the UK.

Subtlety is the key I reckon. Not an all out Crows slag-fest. Just my 2 cents.

I'd take some negative articles about port and swap out references to port and port players for crows and crows players.

Capel and his writing would be childs play to parody, there was a great example recently on this board.

I remember the one a long time ago something about the crows, port the sanfl, money, done nothing in ages, KG i think was involved, blah blah blah, clearly im not remembering enough but I remember it was epic!

I think it was a letter KG wrote and it was reversed onto the crows?

The premise and a lot of the content is great, I would probably drop the Alf Stewart dungeon references and so on. If you execute this properly it will get mainstream attention at some point, so it should do away with that stuff if you want it to maintain credibility.

Leave rape jokes and the C-bombs (preemptively) to the prepubescents on AFL Memes.

And throw the cheque book at tribey and ETW.

As for photos, you could always mock up a few with a couple of mates. Just need some guernseys and/or Photoshop.
