I'm not a huge movie buff or batman fan but ____ me their marketing department has done a good job with this so far.

Ledger looks awesome. Saw on TV that some are saying it could be up there as one of the best villain performances of all time.

I didn't realise that the date of the movie had changed to July 16. Saw it advertised as such on a trailer last night during the EJ Whitten Legends match and jumped on the Village website to see if it was a mistake.

I've been under the assumption it was out on July 17 for ages now.... i think American is still July 18, but may have moved to July 17 themselves.

In any case, a day early is great

No doubt WB/DC are cashing in by releasing this DVD, but I'd be surprised if Gotham Knight was shit. I haven't seen it yet, but there's some serious writing talent behind this thing. Brian Azzarello and Greg Rucka are both involved and are terrific crime writers.

I thought it was pretty crap also. I didn't see any connection to the movies what so ever, and every story felt rushed.
