The death of Andrew Sachs

Have just heard it announced that Andrew Sachs has passed away in a nursing home at the age of 86. Best known to most Australians as Manuel in Fawlty Towers, he also appeared in Doctor Who and made guest appearances in Minder and Are You Being Served as well as appearing in a Mel Brooks film and a Pink Panther film. In addition he more than once in appeared in Shakespeare productions in both film and theatre.

Not sure about whether he died in his sleep but perhaps I should have mentioned that he actually died last week. Here is just one of several website reports on his passing.
