Never rated himSeeing Membrey play for Pies on Friday made me sad that another ex-Swan is thriving at rival club. He is someone that can clunk the contested marks.

I was always against losing Membrey. We just delisted him and allowed Saints to take him for nothing in the Pre-Season Draft. Very short term thinking. It looks like another might have been short term as well, the McAndrew delisting. He got 51 HO, 10 disposals and 4 marks on Friday night for the Crows against Glenelg. Believe me McGree is a good Premiership Ruckman so that win is huge. We have a habit of delisting or trading players who end up playing in a Premiership, Nanka, Jetta, Jolly, Leigh Brown, Rohan, Shannon Grant, Diesel, Tom Mitchell, Barry Mitchell, Spangher,Seeing Membrey play for Pies on Friday made me sad that another ex-Swan is thriving at rival club. Exactly what the AFL media landscape needs...another ex-player podcast.Buddy doing a podcast with Shane Crawford called - The Buddy & Shane Show. Starts on the Tuesday 22nd April. Hopefully it won't a Hawks fest.
He had a contract, he refused. Saints refused to trade for him. We delisted him to help him avoid the PSD and stress with it out of care for his mental health.I was always against losing Membrey. Spot on. We developed him into a good player but he wasn't going to be in our best team so we helped him out as a person. He had a contract, he refused. Saints refused to trade for him. We delisted him to help him avoid the PSD and stress with it out of care for his mental health.
Hindsight is easy. We helped out Jolly getting back to Melbourne for family reasons and got a flag shortly after with Mumford. Naismith and Tippett were ahead of Nankervis but kept getting injured. We helped Jetta out because he was homesick for family in WA. Same for Shannon Grant.. Greg Williams and Tom Mitchell went for the money. Spangher and Biggs had very short careers. Barry Mitchell never played in a premiership IIRC. Leigh Brown never played at the Swans.I was always against losing Membrey. My recollection is that Jetta returned to WA so his wife with small kids could be close to family. Very important to some. Left on good terms.Hindsight is easy. Tony Armstrong is going to Eurovision!! With no tariff we hope
Nah, that's Nick Riewoldt for sure.Might be entirely baseless & vindictive, but there’s some rumours circulating re: Tony Armstrong & whether he’s the subject of a certain daily mail article today.

I regard him as a Filth player and couldn't give a stuff about himMight be entirely baseless & vindictive, but there’s some rumours circulating re: Tony Armstrong & whether he’s the subject of a certain daily mail article today.
Yes, forgot about Shane. He was so underrated by us. I thought he was a VERY good player who was totally undervalued by Longmire & Co.Biggs
Well you aren't a very good rater because he has had a very good career.Never rated him
Thanks for your thoughts , been a battler and done the best he could at a basket case of a clubWell you aren't a very good rater because he has had a very good career.
Tony Armstrong has always been a lifetime Swans fan and was born in NSW, Unlike you. He was born in Albury. He was a true SYDNEY SWAN. No go home factor like the players we get from Victoria. He was not picked up by Swans in the draft, Adelaide got him. I don't see how you could see him as a Pies player, he only played 6 games for them, 15 for us and 14 for Adelaide. He was delisted by US, He did not leave us we left him as he was not quite good enough. I like him and respect him.I regard him as a Filth player and couldn't give a stuff about him
