3 Victorian clubs eh? Let's see who needs a ruckman:

Carlton - Matthew Kreuzer, Shaun Hampson, Robbie Warnock, Levi Casboult?, Sam Rowe?. Seemingly well stocked in the ruck department although they had the misfortune during the season to have their top 3 missing at the same time. Krezuer, Hampson and Warnock all relatively young so no need for Currie here.
Collingwood - Darren Jolly, Cameron Wood, Jarrod Witts, Jon Ceglar, Quinten Lynch?, Chris Dawes?, Corey Gault? A remote possibility with Jolly getting on in age and but they've been comfortable using Wood when Jolly has been rested/hurt and they have high hopes for Witts as well.
Essendon - Patrick Ryder, Tom Bellchambers, David Hille, Joe Daniher? Hille is getting on in years (will be 32 next year) and looks set to get bypassed by Bellchambers in the pecking order. A mature aged ruckman would complement Ryder and Bellchambers quite nicely but it could be hard to juggle 4 of them next year
Geelong - Orren Stephenson, Nathan Vardy, Trent West, Dawson Simpson, Tom Hawkins? Stephenson hasn't had the same amount of success as fellow mature aged recruit James Podsiadly has. A three-way battle between West, Vardy and Simpson probably means Currie is surplus to requirements at Cat-land (much to Soph's relief)
Hawthorn - David Hale, Max Bailey, Broc MacCauley, Sam Grimley, Luke Lowden, Jarryd Roughead? Bailey can't force his way into this side as they like having Roughead doing the secondary ruck duties, so I can't see a spot for Cuz here.
Melbourne - Mark Jamar, Max Gawn, Jake Spencer, Jack Fitzpatrick, Stefan Martin?, Mitch Clark? Jamar is a top class ruck and Martin fills in adequately but after him it isn't clear who of Gawn, Spencer and Fitzpatrick will be his natural successor. Adding Currie to the mix might not make it any clearer.
North Melbourne - Todd Goldstein, Hamish McIntosh, Majak Daw, Ben Mabon, Drew Petrie? Probably the deepest ruck list and with Daw being recently promoted to the senior list they may even decide to let McIntosh go to another club. No chance.
Richmond - Ivan Maric, Angus Graham, Tom Derickx, Ty Vickery? Andrew Browne already delisted and Graham only playing 1 game in 2012 after averaging 15 in the previous 3. Good chance.
St Kilda - Ben McEvoy, Rhys Stanley?, Jason Blake?, Justin Koschitzke? Jay Lever?, Only one real ruckman in their squad which meant that part timers like Blake bravely had to go into the ruck when McEvoy was unavailable.
Western Bulldogs - Will Minson, Tom Campbell, Jordan Roughead?, Ayce Cordy? Minson is an unrestricted free agent and has been linked with GWS already. Campbell rucked when he broke into the side whereas youngsters Cordy and Roughead look like being used in key positions at either end of the ground by McCartney. Good chance.

My guess are the 3 clubs are St Kilda, Bulldogs and Richmond

I'd throw Geelong in that mix if McIntosh doesn't go there. Vardy always seems injured, as well as Simpson and Stephenson is still learning..at 29. And then if McIntosh does go to Geelong, Currie could end up at North Melbourne. I think Daniher for Essendon will play as a key forward and they contintue to play Ryder/Bellchambers. Damn...we could use Daniher as a key forward right now! Why pick Essendon over us?!?! :p

The world is a gloomier place :(

Will always remember Phillips as the guy who came into the team when Roos got pissed at Nick Davis in 2006. Good player though!
