Honestly though, I think his last fight broke him as a boxer. It was a poor fight to take as Murtazaliev has cement fists and Tims defence isn't world class. I hope he's made enough money because he's taken some beatings now and should bow out.

Not ending the first fight with Fundora when the cut happened has broken him imo.

They should've thrown in the towel straight away if the doctor/ref wouldn't stop it. Instead they let him have the shit beaten out of him for 8 rounds, or whatever it was.

Yeah I think he didn't let Kostya go out for the last round from memory, I thought that was good by Lewis, saved him from a further beating.

Didn't really watch yesterday's boxing, the Foxtel feed to the RSL kept cutting out, apparently it was happening at all the pubs. So I got a river going on my phone and everyone was sitting around my phone watching the fight ha ha, ridiculous scenario.

Yeah, Lewis is one of those trainers that cares about his fighters. Boxing would be a lot better if they had more people like him.

So many trainers and promoters don't, I reckon they treat them like a horse trainer does in a lot of cases.

I actually think the Thurman fight was a good one.. Thurman was 2 years inactive and only 1 fight in 4 years, also not to mention coming from 2 weight divisions below.. Thurman getting injured 12 days out has derailed and completely changed Tim's career imo.. the damage received in the first Fundora fight has shot him to pieces, once the chin is gone the chin is gone.

Yep. He shoukd have one more fight s zerafa for some cash then retire. He's taken too much punishment already. Save his brain.

It's the perfect retirement package, however I feel No Limit will put him against Thurman first. Not sure how many fights he has left on his contract actually but they'll want to get all they can out of him.

If he just had a bit more power he could have pushed Ball back a bit, Goodman boxed great but Ball landed a lot more bigger cleaner punches, judges should really favour that IMO.
