Give us the rundown then. Love the cabinet too.

Thanks! If I must 😜

Spinning on a Rega Planar 1, through a Rotel A11 Tribute driving Monitor Audio Bronze 50’s. Sounds great, played some post rock, house and contemporary classical yesterday and impressed with the range.

Cabinet is from Cozymatic.

Update. Well I got all the way through to Randy's solo in Suicide Solution (which I personally think is the greatest solo of all time) before MrsB entered and said she preferred the sound of the microwave. I'll take that as a win and listen to the rest later because there's still some cracking tracks. I reckon this would easily make my top 5 live albums of all time.

Another entrant in that top 5 actually turned a quarter of a century old this year as my youtube feed alerted me to. I was both happy and sickened.

Have you read Steve Gorman’s biography??
So many great/crazy stories…get a hold of it if you can. One story is that Rich screwed over Jimmy Page (I think Jimmy had to fake a hip injury to get out of touring with them he was so offended)
In short:
Chris is crazy, Rich can be a prick too, Eddie Hirsch had some hilarious moments, Marc Ford was unfortunately a junkie, &Kate Hudson is ace

it's a bit (zoomer) for some of youse but i reckon this album (the now now and never - what is your name?) is one of the best new pieces of music released for a few years. really interesting and does a lot of shoegaze-y stuff really well.

This pod is a pretty good brief history of The Kinks (just skip past the first 5 minutes about other stuff)

Waterloo Sunset is such a perfect song (fun fact…it name checks General Zod who passed away on the weekend)

Just last night I came across Bowie’s cover of Waterloo Sunset.

Finally got around to listening to this. Gorman sounds like a great guy. Very interesting interview but I'd hoped he was going to talk about the Jimmy Page gigs at the Greek.

He said something like the best day being in the Black Crowes was just the day it didn't suck as much. Wow!

Also funny story at the end about Oasis. I wonder what Liam actually said on stage that Gorman had misheard??

I think I will get a copy of his book. Cheers.
