The Hate Triangle

Talking to a mate who's an Essendon fan and he reckoned that Essendon were up there for rivalries. I then explained to him the original and foremost "Hate Triangle"
The 3 teams are Richmond, Collingwood and Carlton.
All those 3 sides hate each other and have since forever. He then argued to me that Essendon should be put into that hate shape and threw the idea of a "Hate Square" at me. Apart from the fact that I told him that a triangle is a way cooler shape than the square, he still reckons that Essendon deserve to be up there...I don't.

Have to agree with the Watcher, it's hard to hate a team that hasn't delivered in the last 20-odd years.

However, Collingwood or Carlton, that's a different matter...
