An opportunity for everyone to get things off their chest before Saturday's result. Don't want any Monday's experts here.

I say (and have said previously) that the Crows:

1) Will never win a Grand Final with Clarke and Biglands as our ruck duo.
2) Should not drop Douglas under any circumstances as he is a potential champion, and champions don't get dropped regardless of age.

This thread is an opportunity for those to declare that we should not play under-prepared players (ie Burton & McLeod) in a preliminary final, that McGregor should be in the team ahead of Perrie/Stevens, that Massie shouldn't be dropped, that Ricciuto should play even if only 60% fit, or any other theories you have.

Please note that posts need to be in by 3pm Saturday in order to carry any weight. Any 'I told you so' posts received after this time will be disregarded.

Declare your hand. Balls on the line. Forever hold your peace.

You know what, I told ya the crows would get up!

I knew Mcleod would be so important, I knew that dropping Staker for finals was silly on West Coast's behalf, and I knew Welshy would kick a few!

There ya go, told ya so :P

*edited for typos*

1. Cox will destroy us, too big a motor and will thrash Clarke around the ground.
2. Scott Thompson will officially become an elite midfielder.
3. Judd will destroy Shirley.

And courtesy of the Mailman:

* Crows WILL win by 17 points.
* Bode WILL kick 4.
* Judd WILL have 14 disposals.

I hope you like bacon with your egg ridden face.:p
Crows will win by putting scoreboard pressure on; Welshs 5 goals being the difference.

Burton and McLeod are already champions or hadnt you noticed....Douglas is still learning to tie up Maccas bootlaces:rolleyes:

Eagles midfield will rack up possessions but won't convert into goals.

McLeod to have a blinder (another Norm Smith will be in his sights).

Winning team will have no more than 14 goals (< 100 points).

Adelaide to win by 2-3 goals.

Whoever wins this game will win the GF - bookmark it (yep that means Adelaide).

Crows will have a late change with Mcgregor coming into the line up in place of Burton,Johncock will start in the midfield along with Mcleod ,McGregor back pocket, there will be a full house at AAMI,straight from the horses mouth;)

We sussed out what West Coast had to offer that dark day at Subi, they never saw us but.

They will find out but.

Close game to 3/4 time. crows playing that beautiful high pressure game! eagles delivery will be hindered by midfield pressure and good defence by the crows. corws to run away slightly in the final quarter! Porplyzia to play another great game, burton will kick at least 3 goals. clarke will continue his good form and hold his own against Cox! WC unable to stop our run from half back with Macca Stiffy and Marty breaking the lines and delivering!
Look for the same quick kick into the forward line from the centre aswell!

Crows by 20+ points.
McLeod will be BOG. Clarke will at least break even with Cox and Biglands will play another blinder. Midfields will break even, Crows backs will kill Eagles forwards. Our forwards will be on target. Welsh to kick 5, Bode 4.
The GF will be close. Sydney has advantage of extra day's rest as well as having a training run against Freo while we have a tough game against WC.

Sometimes life is not about being proven right or wrong...(especially in sport).

Sometimes life is about taking calculated gambles, educated risks, and throwing caution to the wind to give yourself the best possible chance of succeeding.

Regardless of what transpires on Saturday - I think the club has given itself the best possible chance of winning, and is fielding the side that is best placed potentially to beat the West Coast.

Making all the right decisions does not guarantee success.....there are too many other variables - and whether you have your best side in or your worst - you still need everything going your way because for a hundred minutes - this is a game of centimetres and second efforts.

I'll back the club to get it right.

.....and I'm also sure that real supporters who love the club - don't look for opportunities to bag the club in a "I told you so" manner if they don't get something right........that wouldn't happen ......surely....

Pure Quality Mad dog that post. :thumbsu:

Was it me or Mad Dog that missed the intent of this thread?
I don't think either of you missed the intent. Mad Dog was just savaging it. And rightly so.

McGregor in for Stevens, plays forward and kicks 3

Crows defence dominates and we get up by 5-6 goals

And Mad Dog, appreciate the sentiment but seriously mate learn to laugh....we all love our club here :D
