I'm hoping Gaz will be used more as a high forward anyway. He's such a good distributor. I can't see him being plonked in the square.

Weekend Wrap and "Liked, Learned, Hated" right here -- How did tipping go?

Fair bit busier now on the bandwagon than when it was just you, me and a few tumbleweeds.
Objection!
I've been on the Mark O'Connor train since first watching the YouTube highlights of his Gaelic footy back in 2016.
Still love this video

When people think of Wingard they think of 2013-15 Wingard (a gun) not the one we’ve seen for the past three years (a very average player).

Funny, the calls now are “he’s being wasted as a permanent forward” by the Hawfies.Hinkley's fault for trying to make him in to something he's not (a midfielder). He's also the type of character who needs a more robust, demanding culture to support his development properly imo, and Port Adelaide sure as hell wasn't that.
The talent is still there, he just needs a period of de-Portification. He's in his mid-20s so there's still time.
I don't think so. Just fell in love with himself after that 2015 season (like a few Port players) and hasn't been the same since.Hinkley's fault for trying to make him in to something he's not (a midfielder). Apparently one of the least dedicated players going around.
Might change for a month hear and there when the blowtorch is applied but is preety much done as a top player.
No I don't personally. But I guess we'll see.You don't think his preparation and dedication will improve under Clarkson's watch?
No I don't personally. But I guess we'll see.
If Clarko does turn him around he's even better than I thought.
I've gotta agree about Hinkley. A lot of those good players started under Primus, and the end of Choco.Yep, we'll see.
Ken Hinkley may have been great for us as an assistant but I don't rate him at all as a senior coach and I fully admit that that's coloring my opinion here. I don't think he's been good for Wingard's development. Wingard has to take a lot of that responsibility himself of course too but if you look at Hinkley's track record at Port, player development has been atrocious for the duration of his tenure. I don't think it's a coincidence. I may be wrong but I suspect going from Hinkley to Clarkson, and a weak culture to a strong culture, will be a wake-up call for him.
Not Afl but watching the Nba last night I can't see Lebron/Lakers getting past the first round of the playoffs.
It's a shooters game now and they don't have the quality around him.
Your 3rd paragraph sort of answers your first one.
I dunno, I hope your right but if I had to bet my hard earned on one finishing above it would be them.
Agree on Kelly, while I'm talking about hard earned. I'd be putting money on him for the Brownlow.
Another pre season and playing for that Eagles contract. I think he'll have a phenomenal year.
Credit where it is due. Would you like me to quote in the I was wrong thread or good to leave here?
The blues draw second half of the season is no lay down misere.
Could see them scrambling to stay in the 8 by seasons end.
Still got Freo x2, Giants x2, Crows x2, Pies x2, Swans, Tigers, Saints, Cats, Lions, Demons.
More than enough tough games to see them drop down the ladder, or if they're good enough send someone else down towards 7-8.
I like it but "scrambling to stay in the 8" doesn't have the same edge as "they're going to miss the 8".Posted back in April.
Don't mention the war.I was right about Jordan Clark. We should have given him more games and done more to keep him.
This isn’t the “I still think my feelpinion is right” thread.I was right about Jordan Clark. We should have given him more games and done more to keep him.

He’s had a good year and we got a good prospect ruck in return.I was right about Jordan Clark. We should have given him more games and done more to keep him.
