Shuey still 2 weeks away
Good news on Butler tho, hopefully he comes in this week

I'll eat my hat if Darren Glass is greater than 75% fit...

Whenever he runs, it looks like he is barefoot running on hot coals. Something is definitely not right with him, then again I don't think it has been since mid '08...

Masten sounds like 6-8 weeks according to John Worsfold this morning. Pending Scans today

Injury list as of May 11

Kerr (hamstring) 9 weeks
Masten (knee) 6 weeks
Neates (finger) 4 weeks
Houlihan (foot) 3 weeks
Jones, B (arm) 2 weeks
Shuey (knee) test
Smith (quad) test
Selwood, S (hamstring) test

Fingers crossed he can get a game under his belt before the WAFL State round bye.

I notice Houlihan is listed as 3 weeks. Does this mean 3 weeks before he resumes training or 3 weeks until he'll be able to play a game of WAFL or WAFL reserves for instance?

I think he was one of the catalysts of our improvement towards the end of '09.

Do you guys think he'll be able to find a spot in the team this season? He adds running capacity, which should help us run out games.

I'm a big fan of Houlihan. From what I gather he has a stress fracture or "hot spot" on the heel and has been running. (not sure how that works.)
Like you not sure what 3 weeks means when its a long term injury.
My guess is 4 weeks from a WAFL reserves game and then gently from there.
Played some great games at the end of last year and the lack of run from our boys at the moment you'd think Woosha would be keen to get him up and going.

Problem is its likely that 4 or 5 of that list should probably play in the firsts.

The first two are given, Houlihan really worked into some great games at teh end of last year and B Jones is always a favourite and Shueys dedication might have him in.

Will be nice to get that list down to just Kerry.

Im not even sure rookies can play in the state game. If they can what were they smoking when Callum Wilson wasnt selected. Would be the first picked I would of thought

Glass had scans on Thursday and the club seems to think he doesnt need surgery, just to be alot more carefully managed than he has been so far this year. Will probably play 3 and miss 1. The 1 he misses will normally be games were they expect rain and/or games on harder surfaces
