It is quite possible, but the state he appears to be in, he doesn't know what he is doing in the next 24 hours.Hi
I'm unsure what's going on with this kid but seems concerning
Is it possible he never plays afl again ?

Hi
I'm unsure what's going on with this kid but seems concerning

Should've labelled it as a finger injury.Negative. Obviously he’s got some issues and I feel like the club has been nothing but great through the whole process. Just wish we had other clubs abilities to sweep things under certain (cotton on) rugs
Who would’ve thought drafting Charlie Clarke would be such a sliding doors moment.
What a ****ing horrible influence he’s been.
AgreedI obviously don't know Charlie, but everyone else on the list didn't seem to be under his influence. If JUH has a disposition for a certain lifestyle and is drawn towards certain personalities, you could argue that it was going to happen anyway. For the most part, he has been surrounded by extremely solid citizens at the club - I mean, our club is represented by an incredibly good group of people in my unbiased opinion. JUH could have just as easily adopted The Bont as his role-model and moulded his lifestyle on impeccable characters like him. But he didn't.
Look at the incoming batch of recruits - Dolan, Hynes, et al. You could say that JUH is now, himself, the bad influence. Will they be fascinated by and drawn to him, or will they make more mature choices? I'd bargain the latter. All this is saying...I suspect that JUH's problems go back a very long time, far pre-dating his tenure with us, with complicated roots and challenges that the arguably more well-adjusted among us can't understand.
Question . Why wouldn’t he just be placed on the inactive list so that we can open up a spot in the mid season draft ? Any reason why we wouldn’t/can’t do this ?He hasn't been moved to the inactive list, this is purely a case of trying to limit the media speculation, the amount of Marra questions Bevo gets in pressers and the constant will he/won't he in regards to training on a particular day.
There are many things still going on behind the scenes but this doesn't impact those one way or the other.
No, he was just doing the absence thingThat’s what he was already doing.
In order to do that the leave of absence would have to be for the whole season, with no ability to play this year. If that is the case then yes we could.Question . Why wouldn’t he just be placed on the inactive list so that we can open up a spot in the mid season draft ? Any reason why we wouldn’t/can’t do this ?
Are we sending him to Europe as well? I feel like I’ve read this book before“We’re okay with him being away from the club until the trade period”
I hope for this incoming batch of recruits, that having seen Jamarra's downfall up close, that they have learnt very valuable life lessons about their choices in life. Whilst Jamarra has been a big distraction for the club, from the outside, it doesn't seem to have had an affect on the club onfield. Jamarra taking leave from the club is a bonus for these players, so they can concentrate on establishing their careers.I obviously don't know Charlie, but everyone else on the list didn't seem to be under his influence. This bit is the important part. If we can handle this implosion while still keeping everyone focused then it's great signs for the culture we have going onI hope for this incoming batch of recruits, that having seen Jamarra's downfall up close, that they have learnt very valuable life lessons about their choices in life. Without going in depth arangements need to be made and everything needs to be agreed to by all parties.Question . Why wouldn’t he just be placed on the inactive list so that we can open up a spot in the mid season draft ? Any reason why we wouldn’t/can’t do this ?
His current contract still stands and except for match payments he is getting all that he would have otherwise.I wonder if there is pay freeze or reduction agreed to as part of taking a "Leave of Absence "
An aside, but Roarke is a ripping bloke.Had a chat to Rourke Smith on Thursday at a worksite.
Won’t play for the club again.
Make of that what you will.
Actually attending appointments is one of the biggest battles for these issues. It's a shit situation all round but I seriously wish him all the best in getting on top of it. Many don't.Without going in depth arangements need to be made and everything needs to be agreed to by all parties.
I will say on a more positive note Marra is attending all appointments with those assigned to him through the AFL so maybe there is a chance that he finds the help he needs via that avenue, as we all know the first step is seeking help, accepting help and actively participating in said help. So potentially there is an avenue out of all this mess that way, if not for the club but for his own well-being.
Stands to reason - pretty rare someone melts down this fast.been hearing rumours about his off field habits since mid to late 2023
Plenty of people in a spiral like this believe their own BS.He sounds pretty delusional. Does he think he’s just going to walk on into our team again? Does he think he is ever gonna get another contract that doesn’t have a billion triggers attached it it?
I won’t call a bloke I’ve never met dumb, but he seems extremely naive. I don’t think he realises the damage he’s doing to himself in the eyes of pretty much everyone’s except Damien Barrett (the only bloke left who wants to blame our coach).
The image of club fixers feverishly working to put out spot fires and suppress the story for a few years for a trade only to be thwarted at every turn is admittedly very amusing.Former director told certain events that happened in the middle of 2022 that in hindsight, has had an impact on JUH now. Not immediately but it took time to play out - what the media is covering is tip of the iceberg stuff. This is why I was hoping they'd keep it under wraps and gift wrap it all to another club in 2027 but I think an exit is the best thing for the club.
Why I trust this former director as he was/is 'ITK' and called the Stringer stuff and departure 12 months before it all happened back in 2017 - before media and anyone knew or made it public, he knew all about it.
