Did anyone else notice that the article stated that Nicholls was a 19 year old vice-captain to Barassi, when Barassi arrived in 1965, & a 22 year old premiership captain? Given Nicholls joined Carlton in 1957, that would have made him 11 years old in his debut season. I know he was always a 'big boy', but big enough to play VFL football at 11?:eek:
