The only thing more facepalm then this thread is the essendon supporters in it bringing up a game from 15 rounds again.

Not a well umpired game today but it happens nearly every single round, no point in calling for his head or starting a whole new thread on it. We should just sticky a thread called 'Weekly Whinge for Umpiring' cause it happens to every club.

Interesting game considering these two teams generally get the rub of the green with the umps. I think Fremantle's complaining to the AFL has payed off, other clubs should give it a shot as well.

I heard the decisions as they happened. He took control of the situation and then because someone fell for Ballantyne being a smartarse, the second kick was paid. When you get sucked in, you have to live with it.

Sometimes you need to rise above the smartarse, not fall for them.

Least the Swans are coming back and there's time to continue coming.

I have no sympathy for Sydney personally but I feel sympathy for the game in general. Umpiring has been atrocious all year and nothing is being done about it.
