Lucky for them or they would have lopped themselves by now.
Losing and being a rabble hurts supporters of any team unfortunate enough to go through it, but it must be hell for supporters that picked a team simply because they thought they were winners.

Basic arithmetic is clearly beyond the genius that names himself after and uses the avatar of the two people most responsible for Carlton's demise.
You're not used to losing after the last six years? Have you been in a coma?

What about eight, nine or ten?
Or are you one of these lemmings that actually believes this club will start winning flags in the next three years?

Ease up Carlton fans. No need to bite. The truth is that Carlton have been crap for best part of a decade and have been whipped by the saints on a regular basis. No need to sulk about this. These are the facts.
Take comfort in the fact that Saints have been unable to achieve anything during this time (apart from the DVD "winning streak" box set) and that you have a list that will be awesome in the coming years.
Carlton will win a flag again very soon and all the pain will be but a distant memory.
Judd, Stevens, Grigg, Murphy, Walker, Simpson, Gibbs, Kreuzer and Hampson. Will be the best onball division ever seen in the AFL. But you will have to wait another 1-2 seasons.

We had our good old days, not much in the trophy cabinet but saw some of the most exciting players going round
Don't confuse winning culture with money, as since salary cap came in i think 87 you have only won one flag and that according to the penalties handed out by the afl was acquired by cheating.
"In 2002, Carlton was found to have systematically rorted the regulations between 1994 and 2001. The club was fined an unprecedented total of $987,000, disqualified from receiving priority picks and barred from the first two rounds of the national draft for two years. The club is still recovering both on-field and off-field from these significant penalties."

And yes i know that in that time we have won zero premierships but my point is since the salary cap the divide doesn't seem so big now hey??
