Reminds me a bit of Kompany this time last year, be interesting to see if he stays as well.

I'd say the difference is his development of players with 'poor' bases and bringing them through the leagues. Kompany brought in a lot of players to suit his style who were able to hit the ground running but not convert that to the PL. I'd have more faith in McKenna doing well in the PL with Ipswich than Kompany with Burnley.
