Feel sorry for Kyah Simon. Worked hard to get back and breaks down again. Still only 27 so could do one more World Cup.

Too little too late imo - the reputational damage has already been well and truly done, and there is no way this apology gains anywhere near the traction in the media or with the public that the initial story got.Personal apology from Heather Reid to Alen Stajcic and a statement from the FFA confirming that it exercised a right of termination under its contract with Stajcic and paid him out, and acknowledging that Heather Reid's statements caused speculation about the termination of the contract.

Absolutely it was forced and almost certainly written by lawyers and not the people they are supposed to be fromIn my view, it's pretty clearly driven by a confidential settlement of Stajcic's claims against the FFA for unfair dismissal.
This will greatly diminish my enjoyment of the WWCAnd it turns out that Holmes is part of the SBS' coverage of the Women's World Cup.
.Donuts from Holmes on her role in spreading Heather Reid's comments about Stajcic, of course.
