So, just checked out the pics of the AFLW awards on the AFL website https://womens.afl/news/71840/all-the-pics-check-out-the-best-snaps-from-the-w-awards

As if we need more proof that the Vic clubs are the only ones that matter, there was not one photo of the joint B&F Kiara Bowers, not one! Conversely there was about 10 of the Collingwood Captain co-winner. It as though Kiara didn't win at all. FFS AFL, piss poor.

I must say Travis Coyler spoke really well last night on sport talk! It was Fyfe-esque probably even better than.... The way he communicates would make him ideal mentor for the younger players and may help explain why he was traded in. It was a refreshing change from all the boring cliches they generally throw around which give you literally no insight.

Then there's next level stuff like the night before listening to Jamie Cripps

Yeah, I think Freddie mentioned that in the Purple Reign after-match pod, that Colyer is a good leader on the field and gets around the young lads.

Feel a bit guilty making light of it but...

Witnesses say some large ~201cm man was enraged and shouting "I am not leaving Freo you crumpet faced muppet." then tackled his tiny car and threw it across the car park, injuring the sole very lonely occupant in the process.

edit - to appease those who have had their self-righteousness triggered by this and similar comments by others... this wasn't intended to wish or celebrate harm on anyone. Just a realisation that it is really ****ing hard to feel sympathy for a guy who actively tries to destroy other people's lives for his own financial benefit. However 'serious' the injuries are I wish him (a) a speedy recovery; and (b) hope it might trigger a rethink of his life choices.

I don’t wish him any ill-harm but could you imagine if any of the Dockers had have been involved in an accident like that and with no evidence would have turned it into innuendo about alcohol or drugs?
