Just saw last nights AFL360 episode with David King on it. If you didn't watch it, i highly reccomend it.

He has been exposed for the absolute conflicted hypocrite that he is. Some choice lines were about how well West Coast had handled this as a club and how badly the media went after Gaff....

Watched On the Mark on this recommendation Nodgey and you were dead right. Kate Jenkins was a pearler and Sarah Jones went alright too.
Hadn't watched it before but I'll keep an eye out for it.
Some of those things Dunstall and Frawley are on are some of the worst shows on tele and we all know there's bloody heavy competition in that genre.

I'm getting really confused by these takes.

Aside for on gameday (where emotions are high), everyone was happy to accept that this was out of character for Gaff as long as he got an appropriate penalty. Hell, Gaff and Brayshaw both said that as well.

No one (except for a few over emotional people online) really went that hard on Gaff at all. I'd say the media especially were pretty even handed when referring to him. The only people they really attacked were West Coast themselves for their botched handling of the whole situation.

I get that King coached the kid as a junior and has all these preconceived notions of him, but it's dumb to bury your head in the sand over what a nice kid you thought someone was when they were 18.

Yes all the peace making has come from Freo. Ross spoke highly of Gaff yesterday as well. Nothing from the Eagles. Still sulking that their culture was questioned.

Gaff provided a spectacularly unsavoury ad for the game and Nisbett/Simpson did the same for the scum up the road as a club.
I'd say his stocks will well and truly be on the wane by season's end.
He'll be operating from a weaker position than the historical status quo.

In any case it's difficult to see how they could renegotiate or revision the fact that they are a canker on the arse of humanity.
