Yes, the snippet they showed was Nat & Bob laughing about mass murder in Nat's kitchen!
Nat asks about huddles and speeches and says he's heard "If you don't give 100% effort, your family is dead. And you come in at 1/4 time and there's been a mass homicide". Cue lots of laughter.
Looking forward to it.

Yeah I searched for it after I heard that. He's not wrong, Fyfe is a very deep thinker and opens up more than any current player in an interview in recent memory.

I loved this interview. I found his comments on Brett Kirk really interesting. And his dad as a mentor.

Great. Ling has just picked up Fyfe's comments on the podcast about not knowing draftees names and just absolutely slated him.
Basically blamed Fyfe for us losing the 2013 GF and subsequent fall down the ladder because he was too focused on his own performance and insular despite that Nat wasn't captain then and the timeframe for this supposed event isn't even precise.

yeah they were dumb comments by Ling, Fyfe was like 21? it was probably around the start of 2012, he wasn't even in the frame for being a leader yet.

I doubt Nat will lose any sleep over what a campaigner like Ling says. He's become another ex-player that forgets he had sh1t days just like any other player and that Geelong were a rabble for years until 2007.

I hate that this even worries me but I’m sure there is not one other current captain Ling would have teed off like that on. Or they would have put the emphasis on how he’s grown. To be fair the other commentators tried to spin it that way & also how it shows Fyfes honesty but Ling just kept hammering him.

On one hand they are criticised for being to ‘robotic’ and giving scripted answers to questions etc, then when a high profile player does open up, they get a dill like Lingy take them out of context and have a crack.
