Gee wiz, talk about lazy Journalism.

We now sit 16th on the ladder????
He also argues that West Coast have debuted as many as Freo in the last 2 years , But very conveniently left off the amount of games played by these players . He talks like any West Coast supporter you run into at the local junior footy. You can manipulate stats to back up any argument for example . In the USA 28% of all road deaths involve alcohol , So 72% are sober so does that mean it's safer to be drunk?

While watching Freo/Collingwood, they put up a bar chart showing the number of games played by first years in 2018. We were in first place by at least double the next team at around 84 games from memory. WC were a long way down the list. At least some people are pulling out relevant stats.

I think North & Port were along the bottom too, which is pretty sad.

I think the Weagles were on 19? So their 8 debutants have played average just over 2 games each. I assume this includes Rioli and Ryan who would make up the most of those games

So not only did we nearly have twice the number of games played by first year players compared to the next best, we also had the = 6th hardest draw with 6 games against top 4 teams (twice that of West Coast and everyone's favourite rebuilding team, Hawthorn) and only the Bombers had more (7).

And we still won 8 games.
Maybe now we have been bottom 6 for 3 years we might get a bottom 6 draw. Imagine we get
1 top 6 double up against West coast
1 middle 6 double up against North
3 bottom 6 against Carlton gold coast and Saints.

I still remember when this years fixture was released we were ranked #1 for having the hardest draw, only dropped a few spots after the year is done.

Its shit really. We had 4 wins in 2016 and 8 wins in 2017 and still have one of the hardest draws?? WT Actual F

Yeah, it's just the same old when it comes to us and our luck. Richmond were ranked 2nd at the time but their draw ended up being easy. We should of won 10 games this year, if we finally get a good draw we should be pushing for 12 wins next season.

The thing I hate the most is how we're a team that already has to travel every 2nd weeks but the AFL is still giving us games in ****ing ACT, NT & TAS. Give us more games at the MCG instead. We don't even have a lot of fans in those states, send Collingwood there or something FFS.

The bottom 6 teams in terms of draw difficulty all Victorian
might be more difficult next year for the Vics given most of their teams look like doing well at the same time for once (might be a better year to play most games away from Melbourne actually):

Richmond
Hawthorn
Melbourne
Collingwood
Geelong
North
Essendon
and Bullies on the improve
