Hopefully that doesn't happen
Always hoping

Hey, I watched a Netflix movie last night, Draft Day. Apart from the obligatory Hollywood romance thrown in it was a great watch on the NFL draft & I recommend it for those like me with a keen interest in trading & drafting

Hopefully belly’s more Costner than that knobhead from the Jaguars

Actually if anyone should be exploring their legal options, it looks to me like Lyon.

"Lyon's confidential settlement with the young, female employee at the club in late 2017 was reached after she was allegedly sexually harassed by the senior coach at a function several years earlier. "

According to the media at the time (as I recall) the settlement was in relation to bullying activities of other staff members that occurred AFTER the harassment issue had been dealt with and was considered resolved.

Am I remembering that correctly?
Yeah, that definitely got lost in the sensationalism around Lyon. From reading the outline of events, she made the complaint about Lyon's behaviour at the event, continued at work and left after feeling bullied by other staff. It's not stated what the harassment was about (reading between the lines maybe it was linked to the original complaint in some way), but that was the subject of the confidentiality agreement payment.

How does Prestipino still have a job as a journalist? He is terrible at it. He is at the bottom of the pool and that's saying something given how rancid most of that pool is.

Failed entertainment writer, redundant from three papers.

Inventing your own facts seems to be the done thing in the Sports Department of the WA Today/6PR joint cesspool, however.

Yes, WA Today and 6PR Sport seem to share the same biased and nasty attitude towards Freo. Haggers and Prestipino belong together.

However, I have been really happy with the change in The West since the new editor arrived. Freo has received a much, much fairer deal and Mark Duffield sets the bar high. I enjoy the new front page layouts even if they are sensationalist. The humour appeals to me. [emoji12]

Our mate Prestipino has written another freo article.
There is a feedback section on the WA Today website. I gave them my feedback some time ago that while they continue to publish anti-Fremantle "opinion" I will be getting my news and views elsewhere.

It won't make any difference, but if they get enough feedback maybe the penny will drop sometime.

Got to love AFL.com.au coverage. Three articles relating to Freo... 2 about injuries, and one them trying to spin a comment by Neale as a dig at Freo.

Bravo d***heads... it's a good sign the regular season is very close now.

Haha Bravo d**kheads .... that's nice that is , very versatile as well might need to borrow that the next time I'm tangling with some West Corp drone

Belly apparently said Bennell may earn a new contract next year, did he say that or has the media embellished it somewhat?
I haven’t heard or seen that but if he did say it the operative word is “MAY”. If he plays games and plays well he “may be offered a new contract”. If he doesn’t he “may not”. Really a non-commital answer. Of course I “may” be wrong. 😎

W A West Coast today have run a propoganda piece today bagging Jason Dustal for daring to not tip WC to finish top 4
Personally I think Dunstall is very astute in his thinking
Im sick of our local arrogant WC loving journo's being so biased

For someone who hates the WA media so much, you sure do follow them closely.

Seems obvious IMO. Bennell is one of the most talented players on our list, if he plays 15+ games this year at or near his best and finishes the season without any health concerns then of course he'll play in 2020. Bell was stating the obvious.
