I count two wooden spoon predictions in there (Callum Twomey and Lee Gaskin.) Schmook has us at 10 and Black at 11, but most of the others have us bottom 4.

also, if they play a game or two before a 2 month delay from the inevitable player that tests positive who played the week before, means that our injury 'crisis' might be all but gone by the time games resume (crosses everything twice). Could mean even Hamling and Acres don't actually miss too many games.

We'll still have 10 players get injured during the shutdown. Broken feet, hamstrings, dancing injuries, shower injuries....... We'll find a way.

Theres a lot of love for GWS this year but Im not so sure they can knock off Rich or WC on GF day. Maybe since they r used to playing with next to no crowd gives them an advantage? WC wont be getting the noise of affirmation calls and Rich wont have 90,000 supporters at the game could be the leveller for GWS perhaps???

I think, as Carlton showed last night they have assembled a pretty handy list now. SPS is coming into his powers and Martin looks to have finally found his mojo. Cripps is as good as Fyfe/Martin/Bont Weitering is looking elite, Fisher and others are very classy. Even Levi is handy now. They are on the up.
I don't dispute the thesis of your post but I think Carlton are very underrated on this board. Their last quarter last night they were easily handling Richmond at times, just inconsistent.

I reckon they'll benefit the most from this. Jack Riewoldt has said straight out the MCG home crowd is worth 4-5 goals.
