Unusual 2nd clip Darren. Not familiar with Adam Green.

Off the top of my head, here's a few bands with "colour" in their name;
Blue Oyster Cult
Lime Spiders
Blondie
(pushing the boundary??)

If we've agreed that black is a colour ;), how about;
Black Flag
Black Keys
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

There must be more. I'll have a think about it.

Good work, Shai! There are probably some more lesser known bands that have 'coloured' names- but I reckon you've done a good job there!
They are only the 1's I had music from in media player.. there is no doubt lots more!

I've never been a Beatles fanatic though I do like some of their music, was saturated with the Stones growing up so obviously that had some impact on where I went musically..

Recently made a music list for a younger co worker and titled it Vintage, while some may not qualify for that tag they are all older -

Honky Tonk Women - The Rolling Stones
Get Back - The Beatles
Old Time Rock & Roll - Bob Seger
Lookin' Out My Backdoor - CCR
Take A Walk On The Wild Side - Lou Reed
Wild Thing - The Troggs
Brown Eyed Girl - Van Morrison
Get It On - T-Rex
American Pie - Don McLean
Hand Jive Willy - George Thorogood
Take It Easy - The Eagles
Knockin' On Heaven's Door - Bob Dylan
Smoke On The Water - Deep Purple
Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay - Otis Redding
Unchained Melody - Righteous Brothers
Blinded By The Light - Manfred Mann
The First Cut Is The Deepest - Cat Stevens (Kill me now but I sorta find the Rod Stewart version easier to listen to)
Tears In Heaven - Eric Clapton
More Than A Feeling - Boston
You're So Vain - Carly Simon
Running On Empty - Jackson Brown
Midnight Blue - Lou Gramm
We've Got Tonight - Joe Cocker
Sweet Home Alabama - Lynard Skynard
Life's Been Good - Joe Walsh
Stairway To Heaven - Led Zepplin
Like A Hurricane - Neil Young
End Of The Innocence - Don Henley
No Woman, No Cry - Bob Marley

I was trying to go through mine in my head- then looked up and saw my Simply Red CD in its holder.
I cheated a bit with the Cranberries though :( Wasn't sure if it's acceptable as a colour ;) But, then I thought "why not?!"

Yep, Pumpkin & Snow.. :D

Looking forward to Blackbird! :) she's just learning the basics, if she gets the chords down and listens to a lot of music she might start getting inspired. It's like learning to write or a new language. It's really cool that she's taking to it so naturally.
No, she's miles past basics.
I think she can play 16 chords now. And some bar chords.

Now she's into full on music theory so she can be graded later in the year after he exam.

And I just looked. Blackbird isn't in her new book.

It's all solos and stuff.
I love rock n roll.
Holy grail
Smells like teen spirit

Lots of bend work. Hammer ons and pull offs.

Not sure what's in her theory book though.

Did I never post the vid of her playing 7 Nation army 2 months ago?

I'll join in but I'll need more of a thing.

1/ Cream

Where's James1970
Bands with colour names James.

Oh,

Black Sabbath.
Green Day.

That's so cool. Like a duck to water! Must be a smart cookie.
She's a visualiser. She looks at music and it's like she's seeing pieces of puzzles.
She'll be reading it and say "ohhhhh, I get it"

I have no idea where she gets it from.
Maybe my maths and art background but she is no good at maths!

I like the um symbolism i guess? of playing seven nation army in a church - book of revelation FTW!
