Outer Banks is just ridiculous. And awesome. In a ridiculous way. Watched the whole of s2 in a sitting yesterday.
I hear ya! My better half started watching it and I was initially dismissive like "yeh right whats this Home & Away trash" but by the end I gave in and we were enjoying it together, a lot of fun.

If you've got Amazon Prime maybe check out The Wilds...another teen driven series that was a suprise, kind of Outerbanks meets Hunger Games with a twist of Orange Is The New Black. Some really strong characters and decent performances too.

Schumacher is/was simply amazing.

Be warned, you will likely end up in tears, really tough going several parts in this film, but what is clearly is Schumacher is/was a loving and doting family man away from the spotlight, which he never liked, and his wife and son and daughter are the best, most loving and caring family any man could hope for .

Hopefully you will come away from this with a different, more positive view of Michael Schumacher as a person..

Absolutely riverting stuff, one I think I will rr-watch many times over the years.

Only got 20 minutes in and had to do something else but will come back to it.

How does it compare to Senna?

Agree with all this. Brilliant bio and it pulls at all the heart strings.

I posted on the F1 thread, his wife is a star.

I like the videos of him and his family having fun together.

Started from very humble beginnings, scrounging discarded tyres and parts from the rich kids.

Without reading through 94 pages to see if it's been mentioned, but Hip Hop Evolution, Season 1 has been my favourite show on Netflix, I've watched the 4 episodes a number of times.

I'm only a passing Hip Hop fan but I was interested because it's something that has happened in it's entirety during my life time.

I found the presenter good and the characters and their stories engaging. I didn't know about Herc and Bombaataa my knowledge started with Flash and the Furious 5.

I posted in a thread a couple of years ago about Hip Hop exploding following the blackout in New York and all the associated looting, I was actually accused of racism. I just got the information straight from the horse's mouth in Grandmaster Caz of the Coldcrush Brothers.

I started watching later seasons but did like any of the characters in comparison to season 1.

Very highly recommended even if not a Hip Hop disciple, it's a part of modern history.

Came across Post Mortem (No one ever dies in Skarnes) yesterday and went in cold. At first I had no idea what I was watching but it grew on me, I won’t say any more because I think the first 10 minutes are great if you have no idea whats going on.
Started on this tonight.

Dark Nordic shit that is sometimes baffling but other times just out there in terms of storytelling

Will continue

You got me onto it, I’m up to episode 7 S1. Enjoying it.

It's seriously addictive, planning to go back and re-watch the first 2 seasons again.

Watching the last season of lucifer upto ep 7 so far. Seems like they may have copied another series for this tbh

Finished this

6 episodes approx 45min long

A woman is found dead in a field and her brother and father - as funeral directors - are called out to retrieve her body

Like Wosh I dont think too much more can be said

I had English subtitles for Norwegian spoken

Watched the first episode of Squid Game last night, was quite brutal to be honest.
Probably just following on the success of Alice In borderland, but i'll definitely smash through the rest of the series this week.

Watched the first episode as well, intense but looking forward to watching the rest of this.

I haven't finished it yet, but the first episode is kinda WTF and pulls you in especially if you have no idea what is going on or what the show is about.
I'll try finish it soon.

Recently watched :

Intern (DeNiro & Hathaway) - light but bearable if you don't want anything heavy to watch
Worth (Keaton) - got better as it went on, worth a look
The Life Of David Gales (Spacey) - worth watching till the end
The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind - set in Malawi, very slow but makes you appreciate what we have in this country
Mudbound - shocking racism from a bygone era but couldn't stop watching
Founder (Keaton) - if that is really what how he made Maccas, what a turd, good film though
Monster - good but not great, bit slow too
Richard Jewell - liked it
Count Me In - good doco on drummers
Argo - okay-ish, supposedly a true story
The Judge - liked it
Spud (Cleese) - Sth African teen/kids flick about a private boys college, Cleese is terrific
Brooklyn - yeah, its okay
Ladies In Black - nothing great, The Admiral wanted to see it, I baked her accordingly
Sweet Country - good Aussie period film, didn't like the racism in it though
Late Night (Thompson) - pretty good actually, not too heavy either
Just Mercy - really liked it, recommended
2 Guns - what a load of rubbish
Before The Flying Circus - terrific doco on the Monty Python guys
I, Tonya (Margot Robbie) - bit bent but enjoyed it
Public Enemies (Depp) - great wardrobe etc, just a flimsy story line
Training Day - what a piece of crap, wasn't worth all the hype
The Replacements (Reeves) - drawn out sporting pap with the obligatory love story, best avoided
Jack The Giant Slayer - couldn't finish it, never once grabbed my attention
Ma Rainey's Black Bottom - very disappointing
Lift Boy (Indian w/ subtitles) - really enjoyed it
Sleeping Beauty - another Aussie film but couldn't finish it, thought it was rubbish
Lost Girls - tried to watch it three times and eventually gave up
The Mustang (Bruce Dern) - pretty good, worth a view
