I watched that film with Minka Kelly last night and spent most of it wondering how Buddy Garritty would react if she brought her french boyfriend back to Dillon.

Friday Night Lights has to be the TV show with the hottest women involved in it. Minka Kelly, Coaches daughter, The tall glass of water herself (Landry's girlfriend).

Great show, too bad they had that season that was ruined with the writers strike. Buddy Garritty and Santiago were a great pairing.

I watched it with my 8 year old. We both had sweaty palms and his heart rate (measured on his watch) was skyrocketing as old mate got closer and closer to the top.

Absolutely fascinating. Especially seeing his wife there!

We watched the super high tightrope record attempt by someone else a couple of years ago. Good fun to watch together and see what (arguably crazy) humans can strive for

Re-watched True detective S1 and Fargo S1 in the last month. S class Telly.

Just finishing True Detective 3. Since I started the show I've seen more cigarettes smoked than I reckon I smoked in my lifetime and I gave it up decades ago.

It was somehow better than i thought which shows how low my expectations were. I think there could have actually been a decent comedy there but you summed it up.

What did you think of the commentary? It seems a lot of people got sick of hearing the other commentators and would have preferred to listen to just the climber and his commentator friend and fellow climber speak. Is it best watched with sound off?

It was very American if you know what I mean. I just tuned it out tbh. They had some engineer guy on that my son loves (Mark Ruben or something like that) so I didn’t actually mute it.

New Norweign crime drama series. The yellow tint is a strange choice. Usually used for South American locations.

Finished all the True Detectives (thought - hoped - there were five; there were only four ).

His & Hers on Netflix is a wild ride right to the last scene and it’s the right length; doesn’t have any padding episodes which many seem guilty of these days

Alan Ritchson gets typecast because of his physical stature, but I think he's one of the more underrated actors out there at the moment, he's excellent in Jack Reacher.
