The New Daily's draft preview and phantom draft

Does anybody read thenewdaily.com.au's afl stories? i came across todays draft preview, because like last year i received an email (i do every morning unfortunately....gotta stop that!!!) from them and realised that they've posted a draft preview today.

today was the only time their painful daily email was actually helpful

they haven't done a bad job...i dont think. I don't know who the "analyst" is though.

Nice to read one that's a bit different. Can't see the Eagles taking Goddard though, surely not what they need. Especially ahead of Cockatoo, Weller and Duggan who they've been linked to extensively.

Top 10 isn't to bad. Pretty standard names. I stopped reading after pick 11 but. Hugh Goddard to West Coast isnlt what I came to see espeically when Ahern, Weller, Cockatoo, Duggan and Ellis are all available.

Can understand the analysist's reasoning for needing a KPD now that Glass has retired but not at pick 11. More pressing needs before a KPD.

Yeh i stopped reading after pick 11. I understand the reasoning in needing a KPD post Glass but not at pick 11. Later in the draft when we can possibly get a mature aged state defender than yes.

The last thing we need is KPD.

Granted we have a depth of KPD players but i'd have more a lot more confidence in the skill of Goddard as a KPD than all of the unbolded players who are largely untried and the other one Schofield isn't a KPD rear end if you ask me. Not suited to that role at all
